                @boomramada: Again you're referring back to the mistake in the pricing, which I agree with. At issue is that at checkout it said $1067 but some customers were charged $1607.

    Guys… Give it another few months and the S22 ultra will go to 50% off.. Like S21U, S20U and Note 20 ultra before it… It's always at one year mark.

    Jbhifi usually has it on clearance.

        Probably a promotion. My phone still got shipped out at the full price despite telling them to cancel. So they're mass shipping out phones people didn't want.

      Yeah, just bring it straight back to OW local store and initiate the full refund. You have 30 days to do it anyways, as long as you don't open the factory seal!

    I actually fell upon this deal 30 minutes before it was posted here….sadly like everyone else it was cancelled. So my question is what phone to get now? I've always used iphone so the jump across to Android was bold move for me. Anyone recommendations…still have my iphone 6s+ which i've owned since 2012 but recently dropped it and smashed the screen. Should i go Samsung or Stick with iPhone? Pro/Cons?

        Agreed, the last time i used an android phone i found it pretty unimpressive but that was a long time ago…Recently moved away from Macbook Pro to Pc so i'm slowly breaking away from the Apple Cage and to be honest the only reason i jumped on that deal was because it was $1000 cheaper than anything else in that range.

          Samsungs are much better than they used to be about 5 years ago with One UI and just better overall usability. They are the best/most usable Androids and get a lot of software support from Samsung as well, not to mention their resell value tends to hold up a little better too. This coming from a person who has 4 Samsung tablets, 6 Samsung phones (S1, S3, Note 4, S9+, A21s and S21+), Nexus 5 and 6P, and a Motorola Edge 20 Fusion.

      I wouldn't…. unless you need the 10 X Zoom or you have to run dual apps which is a pain with IOS.

      The whole iPhone / IOS feels really smooth and stable. The only thing that kept me touching my S21 everyday is I have not yet find a reliable whatsapp migrator from android to ios ….

          You can't do that, whatsapp ios backup to icloud while whatsapp app android backup to Google. It sucks big time. To make it worse most migrator have mix comments of good and bad, add to the mix is paid and SEO sites.

              @Cisco123: Correct, that is Google giving an ios app access to G Drive and make the switch easier. To do it the other way involve Apple giving an Android app icloud access. Not going to happen in a million years!

    my personal experience is that Officeworks honour price errors.

    last year I picked up a price error on an ipad and they ended up selling the ipad to me for $300 cheaper.

    but i am just one customer, not sure if they are going to do the same for those that ordered online.

    Managed to order 2 at $1,067 each and got charged that amount to my credit card. My online account shows $1,607 for each handset. Would you cancel now or hope that the units get shipped and no further charge will be made for the difference of $540?

      I ordered mine around 5:20pm and haven't had the order confirmation sent through (luckily I grabbed a screenshot with the price and my order number and the amount I was charged on my credit card). I spoke to someone on the Live Chat and gave them the order number. They said they're working on it and I'll get an email confirmation within 24 hours and a notice when it's shipped. Pretty sure I'm not getting it, lol. I'll just wait for them to cancel and get my refund.

      When I click on the order from my orders, the payment method now says "Management Discretion" and status of the order is "Shipped". We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

    After the initial let down of having my order canceled it might be for the best as the iPhone 14 will be out in September apparently (not far off) and i'm sure that will be step up from the already class leading 13 Max Pro and will likely come closer to the Samsung S22 ultra's current specs on paper and will save me the headache of switching over to Android for another 10 years. Plus Battery life seems a lot better on iphones.

    I have this phone, the standard crop camera and zoom modes are the best on the market. Performance is also close to the best Android SOCs save for lower volume Mediatek chips; the device feels very responsive. The display is certainly the best you can get in a smartphone. Although I'm not a fan of the curved design, makes it difficult to find glass screen protectors.

    Comversely, battery life is very poor for a device with a 5k mah cell. The implementation of the vibration motor also leaves a lot to be desired since the haptic motor is orientated flush with device rather than at right angles. Very easy to miss calls and notifications.

        For decent videos, mobiles are not very good due to the lack of convenient zooming, I always use prosumer videoCam with pro controls & large lens (sufficient lighting).

          I've heard the difference in camera between this and the Pixel 6 Pro is mostly down to preference. The Pixel seems to be more obviously processed.

          Zoom was never a truly fleshed out feature on smartphones until the last few years. The dedicated 3x and 10x lenses on the Ultra are superb. Couple that with OIS and computational photography and the results are shockingly good.

          With that said, a dedicated large sensor camera with swappable lenses would be undoubtedly better.

          its two different game at play….

          With camera no matter how cheap or how expensive, you always have to process it n post to correct stuff. Typical example is expose to highlight then fix the shadow in post.

          Phone Video / Photography attempt to do all that when you are take the shot. The device's computational power plus software and mobile camera evolution in the past few years make this a walk in the park for casual shooter.

          Once my friend who is a semi pro photographer cannot get a shot expose correctly with his camera (you can't ask too much from a M8) so for back up he took a shot with his iPhone. Back on the bus he look at the images, the one on the iPhone is exactly what he was looking for.

          Of course serious shooters who use mobile phone still do work in post, but much less work.

    I got an email saying it should be available for collection tomorrow. The invoice is saying 1607 but I paid by afterpay and it's for 1067. Interesting. Can they charge me the difference after I open and use the mobile ?

        Yeah between that I used Oneplus 6T, LG G4, LG V30, Pixel 5, iPhone 11 and 12.

        All seem better value than Samsung range
