The suit is a trime, yet traditional block. The coat has a tapered waist, that is a contemporary shorter length. The trousers also consist of a tapered hem to compliment the jacket. The Pierre Cardin suits fit very well!

The tapered fit is what I would consider a "tailored" fit. Not slim, per se, but still more fitted than a classic style. I would compare the tapered Pierre Cardin suits to a Van Heusen European fit.

Just wanted to comment on how fantastic these guys are for customer service - I ordered some Van Heusens on sunday, arrived tuesday morning, beautifully wrapped and boxed. Free delivery & Free returns? Pretty decent. My only advice would be to not overdo the sales. If you have them every week they become less special.

I disagree; their everyday prices are not special, but with sales and coupons it becomes worthwhile for people who know what they're looking for and what they're willing to pay for it.
I agree that their standard pricing is simply rrp and not worthwhile, but I would personally prefer lower standard pricing (say 15-20% off rrp) and less over the top specials - say 1 every 1-2months with a big saving. Only my opinion.
I don't agree, with the price of 'contemporary' clothing these days I'm happier seeing big specials come around every 1-2 months, rather than 15-20% off rrp every Saturday for example…

What are the shirt sizes - the chart says 41cm neck (L size) has chest size 59 - that doesnt seem to make sense (59 inches = 150cm, so huge; and 59cm for a chest is, well, not even hipster size)

Is the "short" and "regular" only for the pants length and not for the sleeves length?
Actually I was asking about the sleeve length. I can easily alter the pants length to make it shorter but not the sleeve length so it's important to get it right.
Short and Regular is NOT just for pants length - the suits are a set and therefore Short also means the jacket sleeves length and overall length is shorter. I have verified this myself.
Agreed, my 96ST is definitely a short jacket.

It depends how tall you are.
Can anyone confirm if ST means Short? (and roughly how much difference the length is, say for a 96chest/84waist)?

Excellent deal, but i'm in two minds, being 189cm and 115kg trouser size is 40 inches, i'd prefer around 42 for a suit, is the tapered suit something that will fit me? I'm particularly concerned about the trousers being very tight in the legs. Any chance of more detailed sizing?
Like i can see the look they try to get with the slim fit suits, and i just get the feeling that, i'm not that sort of build at all, kind of like bald people wearing toupee's; not fooling anybody!

No, the pants that come with this suit set are not considered to be tight in the legs. We compare the tapered pants from the Pierre Cardin to a Van Heusen European Fit suit (so not considered to be slim).
