    The ASUS is 1080p whereas this is 4K. 4X the resolution of 1080p but at 15 inch screen size it is kind of overkill unless doing serious photo work, etc.

      yes the ASUS is more expensive and with a lower screen resolution so this monitor is much better

  Just bought this but there are other store selling similar item but with freesync and brighter screen even slightly cheaper ,are we avoiding that store?

        looks good, but it does not even have a brand. iirc, it is not allowed to sell things with no brand etc in China, though chances are it is probably an OEM and manufctured in the same plant as some big brands.

  I have (a different brand) 11.6 inch 1080P screen and it's already a bit of a struggle to read text from it, so I wouldn't recommend using this for work.

  For gaming, sounds good.

  For office work, is 4K on a 15" worthwhile or being able to read with 1080 on a 17" ?
  Do 17" also power through usb-c without issues?
