Has anyone tried this? I thought they blocked this from international users, http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/66106

You may not use an international credit card to purchase an iTunes Code. If you attempt to purchase an iTunes Code from Best Buy in the US using an international credit card, your order will be automatically canceled. We apologize for this inconvenience.

    • I thought you can use any Amex card within the US, as in its recognized as a US issued card…I remember reading that when I got my card pack. However, as its no 28 degree credit card… beware of international fees + bad international exchange rates.

      • I don't think it has anything to do with the type of card. I believe after they process the order for the iTunes card, they check the billing address or some other geographic metadata attached to your card. If it's not the US then they cancel it. Sounds like a manual process.

  • When i go in to process the order, it tells me international orders can be made and give details wt to use but at the end it did authorise my credit card

  • Ok here is the fine print

Special Note about Apple® iTunes Codes

You may not use an international credit card to purchase an iTunes Code. If you attempted to purchase an iTunes Code from Best Buy in the US using an international credit card, your entire order will be automatically canceled.

  • This is a shame that best buy stopped this, I took advantage of the 20% offer last year. It was much cheaper than buying them from other sources.

  • i bought this last november from these guys, following this thread:

    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/58127

it's a shame if they have clamped down on this option for international buyers

  • Am I missing something? We often have 20-25% off in Australia…

    • Itunes US is the difference. It is a very good deal…when it was allowed!

  • Tried it, order cancelled

  • has anyone tried using PayPal? Order went through and now waiting on digital delivery

    • i tried it and it does accept my paypal being non US

      • I'm getting the following error when trying to pay with PayPal;
"This recipient does not accept payments from non-US PayPal accounts."
        :(

        • Yep same error here to, maybe woolrest has a US paypal account?

        • no luck with paypal either
