Reusable sanitary products – 50% of the purchase price (max. $100 rebate) Includes sanitary pads, sanitary cups, leak-proof underwear and wet bags.

I’ve submitted a sanitary product rebate request last week and it was approved already, side note I regretted not getting more (I got the Uniqlo ones that never go on sale and got $50+ rebated).

You sure you not talking about Bankstown.

It's better to add Reusable in the title.

Whoever cared for babies/toddlers before would have known it's the kinda idea from ppl who don't have young children to look after. I'm not against 3Rs, but when the council introduced a similar scheme at my local council some time ago, my impression was pretentious. Even if they could be responsible for the energy consumption, i.e. for a washer/dryer, it's still not worth parents' effort, unless it's for a child, who could only use cloth nappies due to hypersenstive skin (most cases, they just had to be changed more frequently).

There are many people who use reusable nappies.

    • +3

Huh… There's nothing to it. 90% of nappies straight into a bucket for rinse, then machine. Some get a blast from hose first. Really nothing to it. I was initially apprehensive, but easy as.

Also our little one has sensitive skin. She reacts worse to disposable nappies than washed reusables.

Every council should be offering this.

The City of Armadale in Western Australia has a similar rebate here https://www.armadale.wa.gov.au/cloth-nappy-workshop-and-reba…
I think you need to attend a workshop first and it's up to a maximum rebate of $100.
Check your council's website in case they do too!

Just another incentive encouraging people to reproduce.

PS. Hope people have a sense of humour.

On the contrary discouraging people for reproducing. Ever tried washing reusable nappies day in day out especially in this weather.

For anyone who was interested, Econaps are also having a 50% off sale, to make it even more affordable: https://www.econaps.com.au/

They also have a 10% off first purchase.

    • They also have a refer a friend for $15. Could you please dm me a referral link if you have one please? 😊
I'll see if I can stack them all up.

Also, do you know when the sale ends?

      • The sale is to get rid of their original nappies as they have come out with a new version so probably while stocks last.

        • Interesting.
On both listings, the images look exactly the same.
          But the wordings are different.
          Eg:

          V2

EcoNaps cloth nappies are the perfect nappy for families who value quality and comfort.
