Of course, The TPE material is more expensive than PVC material. TPE material is a more earth-friendly rubber because it is a recyclable material. we offer 1-year warranty, any quality problem in 1 year & full money back.

Can you recycle yoga mats? Usually, no
First things first, you need to know what yoga mats are made of to determine their recycling possibility.

Yoga mats are either made out of polyvinyl chloride (PVC, plastic resin code #3), or thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), two types of plastic materials. While you can theoretically recycle these two materials, most yoga mats have dyes and flame retardants in them that makes them difficult – borderline impossible – for recycling plants to process.

  • At 6mm this one is about twice as thick as your standard Kmart cheapy, but still you could buy two Kmart ones for $10 and still be well ahead.

Yes, The TPE material is more expensive than PVC material. TPE material has a few advantages, such as increased eco-friendliness, better elasticity, and recyclability; which make the TPE yoga mats more eco-friendly than PVC yoga mats. the TPE material has some attributes of non-PVC, non-toxic, and non-heavy metal materials

      • Some fair points. Guess we'll leave it up to buyers to decide.

This Kmart one is 12mm and less than $10

      • Oh then cheaper elsewhere

      • Sorry rep but will have to neg to alert members this doesn't appear to be a bargain, cheaper @Kmart.

  • Interesting reviews… "This is about as eco friendly as a dolphin choking on a plastic bag."

  • Not associated with the seller or anything but I do have a Big W one, K-mart one and a similar branded one off a generic seller on amazon, the amazon one wins hands down in terms of toughness, feel and overall usage for yoga exercises.

I don't buy into the eco-friendly stuff but it did a good job usage. till now no wear and tear really on it and it was used quite often.
Was bout $35 bucks for the one i got - at that time Rockwear and Lorna Jane mats of similar feel and texture varied from $40-100.

I did look into Gaiam mats as well but they were costly at the time of sale.
