it said "looks like this is the wrong code" ….
Bargain, another cartridge and bottle for $49 with a free machine.
Thanks OP
But it's just a starter cartridge and not a full size right?
Does sodastream have starter bottles? Didn't know that.
Well they did like 4years ago.
How much is a new cartridge? - ok $35@ShouldIBuyIt: Includes 1L dishwasher safe Carbonating Bottle, a snap-lock bottle insertion mechanism, and a 60L CO, cylinder to make up to 60 Litres of Sparkling Water.
@ShouldIBuyIt: While not as cheap as refilling the Co2 yourself like it’s been explained below, Costco also sells a 2 pack of cartridges for around $39. It’s a good way of stocking up on a few cartridges if you don’t want to have to swap empty ones for full ones every time you finish one.
Its a normal 450g bottle same size its in the image. Makes up to 60L
You can get a cartridge for $19 doing the cartridge swap
I just refill it myself and buy a 6kg c02 canister for 50 bucks. I get to refill about 14 refills so about $3.60 per refill. You need to buy the adapter though
Can you please share more details on how to do this safely? I'm interested. Thanks.
@bargainerpro: Kegland has the parts and instructions
https://www.kegland.com.au/sodastream-cylinder-filling-adapt…@rifter: Cheers!
@rifter: I have the smaller 2.6kg CO2 Cylinder. Keep in mind one doesn't get all the big cylinder Co2 into the Sodastream bottles and as it gets emptier it only fills the Sodastream bottle by say 200grams rather than 400grams due to less preasure in larger cylinder.
Works great though and a lot cheaper If you don't mind fussing about, Just remember to freeze Sodastream cylinders in advance to filling.
I use dry ice and scales, works a treat.
@Homerlovesbeer: where do you buy dry ice from?
If my missus buys light and easy, use the dry ice they supply to fill it up! Just unscrew the top and drop it in. I dont think I've paid for CO2 in a year or so…
That's a swap, you have to have a cartridge to swap, you can't walk in and say "I'll have a $19 cartridge please".
Are there any other colours included?
where do you buy boho peaches?
That colour looks like it came from the wall of a North Korean train station.
Boho
They spelt Hobo wrong…
Would buy this if either other colours available for same price as peach is a no for me.
You don't have to keep it out on the kitchen bench! Just pull it out when you need it.
Awesome, thank you
Bought, thanks!

Looks like 4 large bottles, 2 small bottles and 2 syrups.
Better value I thinkThat’s heaps better value.
Doesn't appear to be extra value? It is a good deal if you don't have eBay Plus:
Additional:
2 large bottles - $17.12
2 small bottles - $17.12
2 syrups - $10.88
= $45.12
+ $49.00 (eBay deal)
= $94.12 (which is less than the $99 bundle from sodastream.com.au)
A friendly reminder that a true ozbargainer would never refill through Sodastream, but would get the adaptor from kegland to attach to a 6kg CO2 bottle.
With this method, I refill about once every 3 years.
Just did this. Postage to Tas was a bit painful ($30), but when I compared it to a local seller it was still cheaper.
Still more expensive than just taking the valve off the bottle and filling with 425g of dry ice from the shops for $3
- It is only worthwhile if one has several spare bottles as usually one buys dry Ice by the KG.
- You need the tools to be able to remove the Valve as it is not easy to remove and one needs something to grip the bottle without damaging it.
- Dry Ice is not readily available around say Inner west Sydney or CBD. Where one can buy it for $3?
The bottles are really robust. But I also wouldn't remove the valve, 60 bar / 870 psi are not to joke with.
@pokehunter: Not sure what you mean. There is 0 PSI when empty! ALSO: They may be robust however trying to grip a smooth cylinder is not easy so one does need something to grip like a pipe grip (whatever they are called).
The valve is a piece of piss to remove and when empty poses no risk whatsoever. There is a small bleed screw on the side of the valve which you open to release any remaining pressure in the cylinder.
The only special tool I use is an adjustable wrench and I use my hand to hold the bottle while opening.
I don't know why you all think it's dangerous or requires special tools.
1kg of dry ice costs $6 where I am and even if I fill only 1 bottle it's only $6 and not $19.@Homerlovesbeer: You must have a vice like grip, the two I tried would not budge. I even had a friend try and he is built like a brick! Perhaps older bottles and an initial whack to loosen is required. I didn't worry too much as nowhere local sells dry ice and just stuck to using 3.6kg Co2 to top up.
Am I too late? The code seems not working in my end
Did you enter "PEESTREAM"?
Yeah, it shows looks like that’s the wrong code… however, i am not EBay Plus, so whether both code had to be EBay plus ?
Yeah eBay Plus and "PEESTREAM" is only a joke XD
@superforever: XD did not get it until you said so ,haha
Does anyone use this on a regular basis? I bought the soda stream from last year's ebayplus deal and hardly used it for 5 or 6 times. And, even the 5 or 6 times I used, was just to stop my wife yelling at me for adding more junk to the house.
He he :-)
ebayplus deal and hardly used it for 5 or 6 times.
I have other stuffs from eBay and Amazon only used a few times XD
PEESTREAM would been better code
