  • Holy carp I've been wanting one of these for a while - $59?! Just snagged one, thanks!

  • +1

Do I need it? Who knows
Is it a real deal? Looks like judging by how much Costco and Catch is selling it for.

Have I bought it? (profanity) YA!

    • The previous lost price on OZB is $143

      • +1

Holy crap. What a deal then.

  • At that price, I couldn’t say no

  • Got one. Thanks OP

  • OOS

  • With the money saved, I could look at a trolling motor (I just learned this term after finding out you can get motors for these things, holy crap)
Anyone wanna explain trolling motors and battery and voltage like I'm 5 years old?

    • Before you spend on the motor, make sure there's budget for all the mandatory safety gear (depending on where you plan on using it).

      • +1

Safety gear as? Life vests? Got those already.

        • If you're going on the ocean add flares, EPIRB, bailer.

          • @team teri: Righto. I'm just reading the below link. Might just go with a gasoline motor instead of electric. Already bought the mount from Amazon.

  • +1

Bought one for the mother-in-law to sleep on when she stays over.

    • +6

Then slowly push her out to sea yeah?

  • +1

Anyone reckon the code would work for the other intex boats sold by the seller?

    • Was hoping for a kayak but can't see any significant codes… :/

  • +1

We've had one of these for a while, and taken it out on rivers a few times. As long as you never need to go too fast or in a perfectly straight line, it's fun. Be careful with fast currents though - the first time we took it out a tidal current almost pushed us under a bridge that we really didn't want to go under.

We ended up getting another set of oars (there are two sets of oar locks).

    No hole yet!

  • Due to be delivered today. Holy cow that was quick

    • It's ridiculous. Selling something like this for $59 with free overnight delivery is just unsustainable and a lot of people in the supply chain to make this happen are underpaid and overworked. This is only possible through the exploitation of human labor.

Anyway I'll probably take mine out to the lake this weekend and drink some bubbly while I float around.
