If you are not providing a reciprocal link (where users get money themselves.) or at least posting the deal yourself, I really don't think that posting a referral is appropriate.

      It smacks of begging.

  • +6

Hey, i work at salsas lol. This sounds like lots of work.

    • +1

Job security. Plus idle hands do the devil's work.

      • +11

        umm okay…

        • +1

yikes… the devil must not get anything done no wonder God is the all mighty then.. loll

i feel for you wholemeal … i will buy 5 of them then.. :P hahaha

  • +2

No Vego option for this deal. That's a pity. :(

    • +1

Deal is for any 2, so yes they will have vego options

      I bet the
•Choose from chicken, beef or steak options
      Is just marketing talk

      • +2

Yeah I did look on the menu and burritos do not have any option for a bean one or anything. Considering Mexican food is so well suited to have vego options and every Mexican resturant I have been to has about 50/50 vego, its pretty weak… I guess you could just order without….
As stated below the deal is pretty weak all round anyway in terms of real dollar savings.

        • +1

Our store accommodates vegetarians i'm sure the other outlets will.

Ask for either chicken and veg without the chicken, or an original burrito without beef but with beans. You should be good.

        • +1

They cater to vegetarians, but not vegans, as both the beans and the rice have dairy products in them. You can definitely get a meat-free burrito.

        • +1

          Cool no problem thanks :)

I love Salsa's. My favourite Mexican food.

  • +1

    Just bought this! Thanks

  • +1

    Thanks OP. Got one.

  • +3

I just love the fact that we now have to point out that, "OZ Wide" includes that strange vastness over to the West! *8vD

    • +4

That strange vastness supports far more than its share of the population, yet we get screwed on every level, mostly because these companies figure enough of us have sufficient funds to afford being screwed over. That is why group buying really took off over here. There is little price competitiveness. When we are not excluded from offers or are not screwed over, it is a reason for celebration.

      • Oz-wide my arse. In this instance there's no shop north of Brisbane, that's half the continent. Not that I have a wide arse mind you, relatively speaking.

  • +1

    Bought one thanks!!

  • +2

Just a warning, it's only going to be valid for about 3 weeks once the vouchers are sent. That's pretty weak.

And when you consider you don't get a drink which is including in their normal deals, aren't you only saving about $2/meal?

  • +1

Are 2 Burritos and 2 chips really $27?

Sorry I'm not familiar with this store.

    • +2

I'm a Salsa's regular. Burritos start at about $8/$9 and go up to somewhere around $12. Chips are a few dollars and coated in some tasty seasoning salt. So, yes - it's feasible that 2x Burritos and 2x Chips could cost you $27.

But you'd never pay that in reality. You'd buy their combos for around $12-$15 and get drinks. They seem a little pricey to look at, but they're way more filling than they look. You won't be hungry after eating a meal.

Salsa's is owned by the same parent company as Boost Juice. So, don't be surprised if you see these two stores next to each other.

  • This is a good deal, but it is such a shame that you can't get bowls instead of burritos.

    • Yeah, the bowls are great!!

  • That's pretty crap how you have to pay in advance and the window to use is only 3 weeks. Even Hungry Jacks had a larger window without prepayment. If this deal gets popular, I imagine they will receive a fair amount in forfeiture money….

  • Cheers mate.

  • I saw this post this morning, and having reviewed the comments again, I can't believe that no one has mentioned the tags.

    Top work.

Also, not having tried these, or knowing the size/shape/age of the OP, I am a little curious about the size of this meal given voteoften suggests that even half the meal is too much…

    • +1

      Hi,
I eat very little but drink a lot of alcohol. My calorie intake is therefore normalish. Three chicken nuggets, if I were to choose to eat them, would fill me up (but not stuff me) and keep me going for hours. I could eat more, and do, if the food is very high quality. So, one burrito would be too much for me. Since I would have to buy two, it just isn't worth it for me. I think someone above has mentioned that these are very filling, especially with chips. I am assuming these are hot (potato based) chips, which is a shame if true. They should stick with the theme and have tortilla chips.

Anyway, there were comments about the size of the 9 inch pizza mia with a few people indicating that their standard pizza meal would be a whole large pizza. Other than the comment stating one burrito and chips would be ample, we have no comments here about size suitability. Since there has been no complaints saying it is not enough food, I think it is safe to assume that if you bought this and split it with a mate, you'd both have enough.

I'd buy if you could get a voucher valid on everything for half price.

  • ROFLMAO, I just read the tags…

I prefer Xquisito or mad max burritos over Salsa. They test much better than Salsa
