Saw this deal on Harvey norman today and the price seems fine for the new surface pro device which includes a keyboard. While stocks last.

Im sure you can insert microsd card on surface.
Maybe you got mixed up with the evil appleHard drive is removable but the 8 doesn’t have an Sd card slot.
Upgradable m.2 drive, (RAM style SSD) but in most cases 128gb is too small, but easily upgraded
After installing Windows 11 Pro (they come with Home) and Office there's about 88 GB left. You'd need to allow space for other apps, Windows updates, a little to not fill the SSD completely, so figure maybe 60GB for files. That's a lot of Word documents but in reality I think most people would use it up with other things (media). Still, I reckon these low storage versions are a good deal if you can manage the space and figure on maybe putting in a larger SSD later on, although the SP7+ deal for 998 posted recently is better value IMHO (same CPU).
SP7+ with microSDXC, and no Thunderbolt
SP8 with ThunderboltSure, for some people Thunderbolt is important. But this deal is $450 more than the SP7+ deal was. Also SP7+ (i5) is fanless.
Macbook air m1 is also a good choice for that price. Even cheaper using Apple education store.
It seems like the bundled keyboard doesn’t have the pen storage/charging slot. Check images under the same SKU on the JB Hi-Fi listing
Think it’s the older keyboard for the SP X that came without the pen slot.Strange the pictures show with the pen storage bit in the keyboard. I sent a question to HN for it either way so hopefully a response soon
Update: I received a response from HN and it does not include the pen. So it is just the keyboard if that is a deal breaker for others
Thanks - but is it the keyboard with the pen holder?
Word of Warning guys. This is not the keyboard with the pen holder.
Is 128GB enough storage? How much does windows 10 or 11 take up these days - how much is left over for office and files? (I’m assuming that these are targeted at business folks?)
