Hey OzBargainers,

Dell is now matching the 52% discount they have on their single arm variant as posted by BatmanBeer for their dual arm mount.

Can also be stacked with 7% student coupon (no .edu email required so a throwaway is your best bet) (coupon claimed here) bringing the total down to $276.32
(I couldn't find the original Ozbargain Post for this deal)

RRP: $619.00
Discounted Price: $297.12
7% Student Purchase Program Coupon: -$20.80

Total: $276.32 ( 55.36% off )

Delivery times look to be pretty bad unfortunately, my order is currently expected 30/6.

edit: instructions for 7% of coupon can be found in this post

edit 2: fixed coupon link

edit 3: Mine delivered today, shipping estimates seem to be super conservative as MonocleMoose had said.

    Damn it all to heck!

I bought the single assuming the double wasn't going on special!

    Arghhhhhhh

    • return it

FWIW, two singles would give you more flexibility in placement than a dual arm.

      • Thats good news, I'll keep the single and a 2nd arm next time

Ordered the single from the last deal. Delivery estimate was late July. It turned up two days after I ordered it. Their shipping times might be super conservative.

    • That's good to know

  • why are monitor arms so expensive?

    • +3

They aren't. Dell's $619 RRP is ridiculous. PCCaseGear have dual desktop monitor arms from $59.

it is all about quality, I had recently bought a $50 dual monitor arm, it is hard to keep two monitor in line and leveled, always worried that the base is not strong enough and does not distribute the pressure to sufficient surface to prevent desk cracking, I have to move monitors with two hands and spend a minute or two to make sure it is leveled and safe!
Just bought this dual arm offer, it is a good one

      • Received the item and installed it today. Impressive quality, robust easy to use structure, with 180’/360’ locks that in my case prevent arms from scratching the wall behind desk. Very happy with the purchase and recommend it!

I just bought this at Kmart. Holds two 27" screens perfectly after adjustments. https://www.kmart.com.au/product/double-arm-monitor-mount-43…?

  • Not sure if this works with Dell SE2417HG as it is not Vesa mount. Anybody has an idea?

    • +2

Not sure if the VESA mount plate adapter is included, but it's a bit expensive to buy an official one from Dell.
No, your monitor doesn't support VESA or this Dell quick release type stand. Somewhat related question hore: https://www.dell.com/community/Monitors/SE2417HG-VariDesk-du…

      • Thanks! I will check some converters then :)

        • @Kaukuti did you find anything?

          • @The Quote Train: @The Quote Train There are adapters from human centric in Amazon for around 50 bucks … not sure if they are worth it.

I have been using North bayou arms for a long time, can be had for about $30 and they're pretty solid. I don't think they're strong enough to lift and maintain 34" though but if you have monitors less than 10kg they should be fine

  • does this have come with a non vesa option?

  • Anyone have any luck getting the coupon? Neither a temp or edu email works for me, just says 'Oops something went wrong, please click on the FAQ'.

        That worked, thanks!

  • I have one Dell monitor that I believe is compatible with this arm, and a ViewSonic with a standard VESA connection point. Does this include everything in the box required to attach the ViewSonic monitor, without having to buy an external adapter?
