  • These are great.

  • Great solid stands. Shipping however took over 2 months

    • +1

Mine arrived in 2-3 days when I ordered.

Via their site or ebay? Their site always seems to be quicker.

      • +1

I ordered on their site April 26. Currently still 'in production' and projected to arrive July 11 :(

        • +1

Ahh, seems like they've been significantly delayed since I ordered based on these comments! I ordered in November last year iirc.

They're much better than the Amazon etc stands though, worth the wait!

        • I have the same order date and estimated date as you and just got my shipment notification today!

      • I ordered directly from Dell

  • +1

How does this compare to other arms?

    • +10

Definitely better than my right or left arms

  • +7

Why this over the $30 shipped stands from amazon?

    • +1

      Would also like to know

    • +1

This suits well with some Dell Monitors like the S2721DGF / S3422DWG ( I think, haven't got one yet). the easy latch mechanism fits well compared to Amazon's or J Burrows. The only thing I could think of that might bother some is it doesn't have the grommet option

    • +3

I have one to hold up my 34" ultrawide. Holds it up solidly. What I appreciate most about this is the tool-free ease of assembly and excellent construction.

    • +7

I have 2 North Bayou F100A arms that together cost me less than this. They are holding a Dell 27 inch and a Samsung 34 inch Ultrawide with no issues at all.

I'm not sure in what way these could be better, let alone twice as good.

      • The clean and simple design

      • +3

        1) Arm rotations can be limited to 180 deg or 360 deg.
        2) Screen can pivot between Landscape to Portrait.
        3) Standard Dell VESA mount (for easy tooless Install/removal)
For those without a standard Dell VESA mount, not to worry, you could still mount it the difficult way using the VESA Adapter Plate.
        4) Neater cable management.
        5) other feature the F100A would have as well.

    • can you give an example of this?

    • I have to use screws on my north bayou to mount the S2721DGF, while this arm would be quick release. The aesthetics of the back would also match.

Not worth the extra 100+ in my opinion though as I'm rarely moving a 27"er around.

    • +6

I bought this and also use the Amazon special North Bayou arm

Night and day difference, the Dell is far better built and sturdy, clips onto Dell monitors without screws (non-dell attaches with Vesa), lockable rotation on both arms to 180 or 360deg so it doesn’t accidentally swing back into your wall and you can adjust the tension to suit your monitor weight with the built in scales.
Think Dell have a longer warranty at 3 years

The amazon does one sag forwards over time but you just need to tilt it back occasionally - I’m using 27” monitors which aren’t that heavy. Not to say the Amazon one is flimsy but just not as well built

Hard to say if 5x the cost is worth it for everyone but there certainly are noticeable differences

  • +4

buy 7 to qualify for the $150 cashback on $1000 spend challenge at shopback

  • +1

Worth getting for a normal vesa monitor (i.e. not the Dell proprietary mount)?

    • +1

Nah, if you are not using a Dell monitor just get another brand. The most plus thing about this is being able to clip in firmly and easily with Dell monitors.

  • Interested to know estimated delivery date for those who have ordered. When I looked at these in March delivery was in June.

    • 2 months, mine estimated ship in late July.

    • Ordered in march, mine arrived today. Have yet to set it up though. I find a lot of dell's shipping dates to be pretty conservative.

    • I ordered one from Dell site on 19 March with (IIRC) a June estimated delivery, then got a “it’s shipped early” email on 29 April.

  • -1

    That or this?

    • they’re different mounts

  • Damn no discount on the double mount though…

    • I have the double mount and the single mount (both purchased with >50% discount).

Only problem with the double mount. I couldn’t attach 2x 27” without having part of the arms protruding behind the table. Which is a problem because I place my table hard against the wall.

Having said that, the double mount is very nice. But I prefer the 2x single mount for my setup because I could space the mounts they way I want.

  • +2

Can vouch for this Dell arm. I have it paired with my AW3821DW. Fits perfectly and manages fine with the weight. Nice to have the cable management channels in the arm. Super happy with it.

    • +1

      same here.
got this for the AW3821DW monitor.
      works really well.
      =)

      • can you fit Dell Docking Station Mounting Kit – MK15 too with this mount ?

  • for people who have the AOC 24G2, the spacers that come with the VESA adapter on this monitor arm are too long.
results in the adapter screws not reaching the back of the monitor.
you'll need to get your own M4-sized nylon spacers

    • hey mate! am looking at getting the dual monitor arm version and saw your post. Just wanted to confirm that getting the m4 nylon spacers fixed the issue? (also have the AOC 24g2) Cheers!

  • I would like to replace my dual monitor arm as I can't get the angles I want. Would it be a good idea to buy 2 of these or any other better options?

    • +2

I use two, really like the quality , and having two arms gives more options.

      • +1

Agreed, having 2 single arms on the side is better than a dual arm in the centre. Also, 2 arms are more sturdy.

  • If anyone feels generous I'd love to know how to establish if this would work with my monitor - do they have standard mounting systems? I'm using a Dell Optiplex 7450 AIO, 24" screen.

    • +1

AIO probably exceeds the maximum load, 10kg for this monitor arm.

      • AIOs are tiny, its probably lighter than an Aw38

      • Thanks - I think this one is about 7kg.

        • If weight is not a problem, then it is very easy to install, it's quick release.

  • Anyone have experience with these vs Ergotron LX or CBS Flo?

  • +1

This is a solid unit, we bought one while waiting for the monitor to arrive. Then they sent us an Advantage coupon, so we bought another 2 at $80 each. It's that good.

    • So if you were going to get 2, should you only get one and hope for a coupon before buying another?

      • No, the Advantage coupon was from the monitor purchase. It was $130 discount with $260 minimum spend, the monitor arms were already on sale for $159 each, we found another stackable couple online. So at the end it was $160 for 2 delivered, amazing deal.

Later they sent us a $10 reward coupon from the monitor arms purchase, without a minimum spend, we didn't end up using it.

        • That is an amazing deal! Good job, I am about to get 2 for $300 :(
Best stackable coupon I was able to find was the 7% EPP…

  • +1

I have this and a cheap North Bayou arm. Build quality is much better on the Dell and it's far easier not just to install initially, but also to calibrate the tensions and move around. And that goes for the VESA adapter not just the Dell proprietary mount. Whether that's worth all the extra $$$ is subjective though.

  • Boiz I can tell you this is legit. Built like a tank. Great if you have a dell monitor that supports the mount. Cable management is clean. The 180 degree lock is great as well so I don't have the arm swinging beyond the side of the desk it's mounted to. Also the base plate is solid and wide, so less likely to damage your table.

Some of those Amazon ones look ugly as hell.

  • +2

these are routinely available for around $195 online, so it's about a $50 saving, not half price.

    • But Dell also routinely sells it at full price, so it is reasonable to claim this is less than half price.

  • Can anyone tell me if this is suitable for mounting through the desk? Is that what the grommet mount is for as opposed to the c clamp?

    • -3

“The clamp supports a 2-inch grommet hole, taking up minimal space on your desk, or you can use the C-clamp on a convenient edge.” -the link

      • Read that in the link, which is why I mentioned the grommet.

I was seeking clarification prior to spending $150 on monitor arm because it didn't explicitly mention through desk mounting.

I'll take your passive aggressive response as "Yes, you are correct"

        Thanks for providing the clarification.

  • +1

I picked one up for $160 a few months back. Best monitor arm I've owned.

  • Anyone used this arm with U4021QW? It’s under 10kg (9.5kg), but is 40”

    • Should be fine. The tension is adjustable.

We use it with an U3821DW, it's listed as 8.8kg without stand. The tension adjustment is at about 75%.

      • Thanks, I think it should be fine too. Just that the stand says it supports up to 38”

    • If the monitor is curved, it will have more front load weight as it’s not balanced. It will support the weight but it might have some dipping issue.

  • Put an order through for one last night. Got a message saying it will be delivered tomorrow
