Looks like the clear Magsafe case is also on sale for the 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max.

As someone who bought an Apple Clear MagSafe case, don’t buy it. Check the reviews it’s all horrible, difficult to press buttons, way too thick. Stuck with silicone or leather.

Does anyone else think that the quality of Apple cases has taken a dramatic dive in the last couple of years? And no longer justify the cost.

They went from being some of the most durable, to becoming quite terrible. I had a silicone case on my iPhone Pro 13 fall apart and tear at the edges, and now the colour on the leather case has worn quite badly… all this started happening within weeks.

The leather case on my iPhone XS lasted over 2 years.

I'm considering ditching Apple cases altogether.

    • Tend to agree. The Silicone ones only last 6 months these days. Leather 12 months.
Same story with my iPhone 7 and XS where the leather case lasted forever.

    • Yep totally agree, going to use Spigen or equivalent from now on when my blue silicone one dies.

Durability and quality have fallen off a cliff. I bought a blue silicone magsafe case from OW at the start of the year when it was on clearance for my 12 Pro and the top edge lip was split after 2 days of use. So I took it back to Apple and had it exchanged because it was unacceptable that their official case would only last two days, and now have a large divot on the bottom of the case but its nowhere near as visible as the first case's damage.

On the other hand…the leather cases I used on my 6 and 7 are still fine…

    • Always used spigen cases. Ultra thin, worked well, under $20 every time.

Apple silicone cases are not very good. They start peeling after few months. I got replaced them once at apple store and happened again, second time replaced with transparent case.

  • Totally agree my wife’s 11pm was indestructible, 12p and pm cases all have tear in the side

    • My 11 silicone was as bad quality as these 12/13 cases. XS and older lasted a lot longer.
