  • They sent me this offer despite having shopped through the app before.

    • +1

I also thought that I had shopped through the app before, the code applied successfully still.

  • +3

If you already have a pending order, which is still in the window of able to be changed, you can edit the order on the app and add the code at checkout. It will reduce the total by $10. Note that you would receive that $10 as a refund to your original payment method, if you don't want to wait for that refund, just add $10 of groceries to your order to bring it to $0.

    • do we also have to pay on the app? or can we make the order on the app and pay by cash?

      • +1

I believe online orders need to be paid for online (can use gift card).

        • thanks

  • +7

Two whole watermelons and one whole pumpkin for $50

    • Hmm, must be a big size for both as I saw pumpkins for $1.40/kg

    • +5

      Or one capsicum…

  • What woolworths App? My ios app doesn't give a shopping option.. just gives store directions etc

    • Are you using the same app which is on the page linked to the deal?

      This one?

    • iPhone 5?

  • -1

Semi useful, as lots of stuff is cannot be ordered online - meat, fruit and vegetables etc.

    • +5

You can order all those things online if you like.

      • Last time I tried (April) I could not. I'll try tonight and I'll let everyone here know :).

        • +16

          No need.

        • The choice is much better than a month ago, but some products are still to return to WA.

    • +1

Not sure why the negs for Miroslav

My local for online has so many things 'out of stock' and 'only available instore' Meat, veg, frozen etc. as weii.

      • Same here or it's available to order and then becomes unavailable after the order is placed and then you have to contend with refund/unwanted replacement.

It's just easier to shop instore and if an item is not available then at least you're able to source it at another supermarket.

        • +2

FYI you can turn replacements off, or if you do keep it on and get a replacement that is unsuitable go on live chat to Olive and they will automatically refund it. Takes 2 minutes max.

          • @hamza23: Thanks - good to know 👍

    • Sorry I think I misunderstood your comment initially to mean that you can't order meat, fruit or vegetables online at all. It seems what you are saying is that alot of items are out of stock online, sometimes it then says in store only. That is true of late yes for items in all categories.

  • im getting better deals

    spend 98c for 5000 points

spend another 98c for 1000 points

    $30 for net $2 spend

    • +5

You can do those and this one as well (if like most people, you need to spend more than $2 on groceries for the week).

Those EDR offers will still trigger on top of this $10 off $50 offer.

      • Does one need to spend $50 including or excluding the $10 discount?

        • +3

Excluding. I spent $54 which got taken down to $44.

    • What's 98c?
Does anyone mind shedding a light?

  • +1

I can't sign up to the app..

    "Unable to signup. Please retry"

edit - it was because I'd used that number on an old account.

  • Very nice deal thank you

  • Byron Bay lager cans 15x2 for $48 before discount. Add $2 item and get it for $40. Pretty decent bargain. Worth adding to description?

  • +1

Upvoting because free money. But every time a deal requires me to use an app instead of a web browser it's an exercise in frustration. Woolworths may have saved me from myself this time as I can't even log in (Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0).

  • Cannot login club must be full

    • Might just be coincidence, but I was only able to login to the app after logging in to the Woolworths Online website first.

  • +1

Thanks OP, $10 off appreciated. That app is slow and very user-unfriendly compared to the desktop version of the site, I can't see myself using it again without further discounts like this.

    • +4

Agreed. But FYI the shopping cart is synced between the app and the site. So you can shop using the site and just use the app for checkout.

  • +1

$50 min spend is a bit considering not many specials and usually get stuff from a variety of places.

Edit: what's the 3000 points, in everyday rewards app ?

    • Some of us already have offers going. If you do, they stack up.

      • Handy, didn't get those deals..
Not worth trying to buy a load of crap for the sake of it.

  • +2

Cool. Great stack up. 3000 points for a 50 spend, 10 bucks off for using the app, pay balance with 5% off gift card used on 2 accounts. 16000 points on the 98 cent deal on 6 other cards. Thanks woolies for a great week. Hope my other 2 cards get something decent next week.

    • +1

      Wow, 6 cards! True Ozbargainer!

      • 10 all up.

    • Is anyone still doing woolies gift cards at 5% off? Thanks!

      • Not regularly. The ones we have at the moment was a bonus wish card promotion through Woolies portal. 4% from my motoring organisation is always available.

      • +1

Check out some options here. Gift card wiki is accessible from the pages menu on OzBargain.

      • +6

Yes, but it's much, much harder to get Woolworths (or WISH) gift cards at a 5% discount nowadays. The two offers I am aware of are:

Failing this, I suggest you look at the link in OP's comment, and look at the entries for:

        • EG / Caltex Woolworths (aka Fuel)2

        • WISH

        • Woolworths

        1. As an aside, if you pay using a debit card from Hiver Bank, you can earn an additional 5% cashback on the amount you spend at the Woolworths Group gift card portal, because that portal has the Merchant Category Code of a supermarket (5411).

        2. Even those EG / Caltex Woolworths eGift Cards are store-branded eGift Cards, they are actually just re-branded WISH eGift Cards, as they both share the same eGift Card prefix (628000 555). I've been redeeming EG / Caltex Woolworths eGift Cards at Woolworths and BIG W for a bit over a year now without any issues. I mention this, because some gift card portals (e.g. HCF Thank You) sell EG / Caltex Woolworths eGift Cards at a 5% discount (before any transaction fees).

  • Thanks OP got it

  • Can you stack it with the 10% from Woolworths insurance/mobile?

    • No

      • +1

Can't stack with the SHOP20 from the easter promo either. But this only lasts until 17/5 and shop20 until early June. So enough time to get your woolies mobile discount, this discount and the shop20 discount in the month.

Balter Hazy Pale Ale 2 x 4 pack for $34.00 at the moment on spesh. With this $10 code it will come down to $58 for 4 x 4 packs. Hard to find at this price!

Fed up of this man who is always standing ahead of me …

Where ever I go, i find him ahead of me …

If i go to ATM, this man is ahead of me in the queue and then takes long time to deposit few pennies …

When I go to coles checkout, this man is standing ahead of me with a big trolley …

When I go to fuel station, this man is again standing ahead of me, taking ages to fill his tank …

& today when I came to post a deal, this very same man had already posted it ahead of me …

Fed up of this man, who is always ahead of me !

    • RU OK?

      • I am fed up with you buddy cuz you posted your comment ahead of me.

  • Sweet,

Saved 23% in total or $11.54 as I used $40 worth of gift cards from NRMA.

  • A bit off topic, but how are people using more than one EDR card at Woolies, i.e. the guy above who has 10 cards?

The EDR rules state quite clearly:

What restrictions apply to my membership?
You can only have one Everyday Rewards Card per person, and you can’t transfer your membership to someone else.

Do you have them all linked to the same QFF account? I would have thought Woolies would be on to that and cancel additional cards.

Do you use different payment methods for each card, so Woolies cannot track you that way either?

    • Personally I think 10 bucks is worth more than 1000 Qantas points so I collect money. Yes I use gift cards to pay as I heard you can get tracked by payment card. May be false.

    • Payment method shouldn't matter much since one can claim that ppl in the same house are using the same card to pay. However I am not sure how QFF works, that should be easy to track and cancel since QFF would be individual accounts to each person

      • We do family pooling with Virgin. They let you send points to one person from a partner and minor children. So we used to pool 3 flybuys that way. Then the kid turned 18 and has to stand alone. We do this so combined the wife holds gold.
I don't know how QF works in this regard, but perhaps you can sign up the kids as frequent flyers using the friends and family code (which is free) and do it that way.

  • Awesome, worked well.

  • did anyone try it today. It didn't work for me.

    • yeah same not working for me as well, maybe 45,000 spots have been redeemed

    • +1

Worked for me yesterday (Saturday) 7pm Sidney

  • Not sold out… worked for me just then.

  • I had some $10 swap cards that I wanted to use up.

Does Woolworths Online / Mobile App allow you to enter more than one gift card for a single shop?

    • +1

Yes you can use multiple gift cards online.
