    I have got 4k points for a $50 spend.

  • +1

Got it too for 5000 points in my occasionally used account - good offer!

  • +3

Only 1000 points min spend $0.98, need to spend $60 to get 2000 points. Better than nothing, isn't it?

    • That's the offer I got on my secondary account that I have literally only ever bought on once about 3 months ago.

My main account that I spend on maybe once a month … nothing.

    • I got the same, but looks like i got 3000 points today.

  • I got 3 x points boohoo

  • +1

Just checked partner's account and got 2000 for $0.98 / 4000 for $50. Thanks OP!

    • Nice. My account got nothing. My partner’s account got:

To collect 1000 points you must boost and spend at least $0.98^ (qualifying amount). Or to collect 2000 points you must boost and spend at least $60^ (qualifying amount).

  • 1500 points for +$0.98 spend. Thanks

  • +3

    I got 0 sigh

  • No offer for me. I use my rewards a lot (for QFF pts)

    • +3

Need to get another card or 50 to just scan occasionally for small purchases. Like a $1 chocolate bar every 6 months or something.

      • +1

        Thanks. Good advice !

  • Do you think that there are deals that go to your email but not your app. Most of my rewards emails go to spam and I like that. I check the app once a week for boosters though

  • -1

16000 points for $6 outlay over 6 accounts so far.

    • -3

I have about 30k points so far

      • Working the system is somewhat satisfying. How many accounts?

        • -3

Enough that i lost count lol

          • @easternculture: I didn't think that this kind of farming would be that lucrative. And the administration of it all!

            • @Charlie Dont Surf: Not lucrative? Just received offers for 26k pts.

              What administration?
(All my cards are for same address & phone number.)
Offers come in - choose the best, boost & use.
Only use cards for large points bonuses.

            • +6

@Charlie Dont Surf: We spend about 10 mins per week sorting through the offers in the email folder set aside for these. We then choose the best offer(s) and delete the rest. These cards then get better bonus offers in the following weeks to entice spend on those and you just keep rotating through. It has also been suggested (though never confirmed) that if you use a credit or debit card as payment, this then gets linked to your account in the background by their system. To avoid this we always pay with a discounted gift card anyway. (more money off anyway right.)

We average a spend of about 100 a week and probably have over 100 000 bonus points already this year. So, 20 bucks a week for 10mins work plus the 5% off for gift card is 25% off our groceries. EVERY week. Seems worth it to me. YMMV.

Never boost 5x type offers. It is better to not scan your card and then the bonus offer gives you way more than you could ever get doing so.

              • @bigspike: I agree - good advice👍
Takes only a few minutes a week to find best offer(s) to suit personal buying needs.
Using offer & discounted gift card effectively gives average of 1/3 off purchase.

              • +1

@bigspike: Thanks for the comprehensive reply. As a long-time Woolies shareholder, I'm not sure if I should like you or loathe you! Boosting sales but shaving margins. As I spend only about $10-$15 a week on Woolies/Coles products, I doubt that it is going to be efficient for me.

              • @bigspike: Can they link discounted gift cards to accounts also?

                • +1

@attalisie: Each gift card is only $100 so even if they do, it doesn't last for long. We also use a range of gift cards depending on what gets promoted. Wish was promoted so we got a thousand of them, prepaid mastercard got promoted at coles so we had a a thousand of that and when nothing else is happening, you can get 4% off through the motoring organisation in our state so we always have something to hand.

              • @bigspike: I spent 7k at BWS alone, be lucky to get 10k

                They never do offers.
                Only Woolworths.

You say 10 mins a week? I doubt it's that quick.
                100k pts, what's that worth $500?
10 mins a week is around 8+ hours a year

                I earn $60-$70 for OT.

I'd rather work a day OT, than go through 10+ mins a week to save for pts.

Granted you can do both, but sorting emails and accounts is more than 10 minutes a week.

          • @easternculture: Do you need a unique phone number to validate new accounts?

        • -4

If you find fraud satisfying, then I heard that the government has some special accommodation set aside just for you. An exclusive gated community. Free food and entertainment. Actually, I’m just kidding — there’s an extensive waiting list unless you jump the queue due to recent outperformance

  • +1

I got 0 spend for nothing.

    • +3

You realise it is a DIS-loyalty scheme right? If you don't scan a card for a while it gets bigger offers to get you back in the shop.

      • Lol, buy a pack of Woolworths Traditional Cracker 250g for 97 cents then, and maybe next time they will drop the bar to 96 cents.

  • +1

Lol, deleted that email, found it again, I got 5000 points for .98c spend

    • +1

I didn’t know you could spend less than a cent! Surely they round up to one whole cent, though?

      • +1

it is actually 98 cents ($0.98) not 0.98 cents

  • Lowan Oats 1 kg
    $2.00

  • Rewards app?

    Spend $50 for 1000 pts

I've literally never used a booster, and I always get shit offers.

    • +2

From my understanding, you gotta be a low spender, or occasional buyer to get these kinda offers

      • +1

I spent 7k through BWS in 12 months and never see an offer

I don't shop at Woolworths much, and they still don't send me good offers lol

        • from my knowledge I think they see your monthly spend as most important factor, last month I spent like $33 over in three transactions, month before that like $29 in four transactions. If that gives any help IDK.

        • +3

I hope that BWS spend is on behalf of work or many friends/family. If not we may need to arrange an intervention.

          • @Slo20: Bahahaha

            Don't worry, I cost them!

I buy mostly wine on clearance, wait for 50% then stack 6+ bottles extra 10% etc

            If cashback, 20%

I could resell some wines and profit, but most the time I'm getting 60% off.
I would say 50% off Dan Murphys prices excluding if there's cashback it'd be close to 70%>

They're definitely losing money to people like me.

It sounds like I buy alot, but I buy alot of $35-50 bottles. It adds up fast, and I cellar most.

It's an expensive passion, I should calm down. I don't know how I went from $15 to $100.

At least $100 Whiskey lasts you a while, but I figured I can always auction off wine and get my money back.

        • Stop scanning the card (or get more accounts).

    • do not scan your card and the offers will come ..

  • I only got 1000 bonus points for 98cents,
2000 bonus points for $60 (not going to do it)
i guess that too only because I started shopping out more at coles/aldi than at woolies

  • $0.98 for 2000 or $50 for 4000
    $0.98 for 2000 or $60 for 4000

  • nothing for me

  • Got 3000 and 5000 for $0.98 thanks

  • +1

Only on one account that hasn't been used since Feb ( 0.98/2000 $60/4000).

  • I only got 1000 for $0.98 or 2000 for $60….guess I'll be spending $1 lol My husband doesn't have anything on his at this stage.

  • Split transaction to pay 96 cents on card, and the 2 cents in cash.

  • Received nothing…maybe 100 points for buying the eggs?

  • Both accounts got 2x$10 off

    • Same here

  • -3

    26k points across all cards🎉
Better than the recent few 1200pt on 17c purchase.

    • How many cards do you have?

      • -3

        10 for family, budgie, etc
        The advantage of multiple accounts!

Can then choose best offer. eg 3000pt for $50 spend next wk. Receive those every 2-3 wks.
        Spent >17c for 1200pt today

    • Have posted comments in Woolies Deals for years about the advantages of multiple Rewards accounts.
That advice was always well received😊

Its really paying off in this offer!!
      Seems some are missing out!!

Offers received on 10 Rewards cards:
      0 5k pts
      1 4k
      4 3k
      5 2k

      • +2

Don't forget to redeem all your rewards points before someone else does…lots of reports in this thread:
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/651164

        • +1

          Good advice👍
Never happened to me, but some lost hundreds of dollars worth of points!!

I've been cautious. Did have points stolen years ago in new account promotion - as happened to many. Contacted Woolies & points were restored.

Woolies has increased security since then, introducing 2 factor identification to access $Rewards. So don't know how the fraud is happening.

As I've previously recommended, I rotate use of my cards (each only scanned occasionally with good offers), there are usually no $Rewards on most cards.
Max on any card is ever $30 - used up on next weekly spend of around $50.

The usual advantage of multiple Rewards accounts, is only to choose the best offer that week.

My shelves & fridge are nearly bare due to price increases, stock shortages, & few recent good offers (just 3k on $50 spend every 2+wks).

For first time with $Rewards offers on all cards, will be stocking up asap😊

        • Set it to bank for Christmas then unlock it when you're at the register ready to spend

  • Got it, 4000 points on $50 purchase. It's a pity the stores are half empty.

  • Where does the offer show up in the app? Couldn't see much under everyday rewards.

Does it have to be $10 spend only on the boosted items?

    • Targeted offer

      • Yeah no e-mails.

  • +1

    2 accounts, no offer. 🤔

I think I'll follow suggestions and make some more accounts.

    • The usual advantage of multiple Rewards accounts, is only to choose the best offer(s) that week (& delete the rest). DON'T scan card otherwise, to increase chances of better offers.

The more accounts - the better the chance of a good offer.

Doesn't always mean you will receive best offer… Posted this Deal. With 10 cards received only 1 offer of 10k pts. Others received multiple 16k points offers on same 8 x 1c spend. Was a great offer.

Like many here (318 upvotes, 14k clicks!), set up a few Accounts when 5000pts for new Rewards account was offered nearly 5 years ago. All other accounts for family were set up over 10 years ago.

So look out for any points promotions to create a new Rewards account. Used to see 1500pt offer on bottom of receipt when didn't scan Rewards card. *May not be a current offer.

      • +1

Used to see 1500pt offer on bottom of receipt when didn't scan Rewards card. *May not be a current offer.

I saw the offer on a Woolworths receipt last night and on a BIG W receipt last week. Woolworths and BIG W use different links on their receipts, but both will net you 1,500 bonus points.

        • +1

That's good to know for those wanting another Rewards card👍

  • +2

My offer was 1000 points on $0.98 spend or $60 for 2000 points. I spent $60 and somehow got 3000 points credited

    • +2

As commented above - Offers stack!
      Thanks for confirming.

      • I thought truetypezk was stacking with 3 different email offers for points on the one card the way coles give you different offers! I only had the one email with the offer of 1000 points for 98cents or 2000 on $60

        • +2

As long as they are offers on same card, valid in same time period, they've stacked in past on Rewards

Some may have 10X pts + 4000pt for $50 + this offer on same card. They stack.

        • +1

Check your Rewards account for available offers, Boost the multiple offers there.

I have small amounts of points for buying individual products, 10X pts offer, this offer, offer of 3000pts for $50 spend from Monday… All can be stacked in 1 spend.

        • +1

Yes I was stacking 3 different offers, but if this single offer can be double dipped that would be even better. I need to wait until next week to find out as my $50 for 3k pts are from next week.

        • +1

Thank you for the info! Yes I only have this offer activated and somehow it double dipped for me! (I do also have the 10x points offer on fresh fruit activated so I did get an additional 192 points on my $60 shop). Last week I was offered 4000 points on $70 spend for 2 weeks but I didn't activate that offer as I had a better offer on one of my other cards and used that one instead.

      • I got the 98c for 2k points OR $50 for 4k points offer. I was too excited about the offer and spent $1 quickly and got 2k points. If I go back tomorrow and spend $50 will I get 4k points or nothing? Anyone tried?

        • +1

As long as you use the correct account and shop within the stipulated dates you should receive the 4000 points. These offers usually stack. See comments above and below.

          • +1

@Yola: Thanks for your reply. I am abit worried as others went straight for the $50 spend but I only spend $1 thus the system may think I have already taken the offer in full.

            • @davidlee: Just clicked "activate offer" again and the offers page says "completed" BUT is still in the "Ready to shop" section. Super confused and wonder if I should go for the $50. Is it worth the gamble?

              • +1

@davidlee: You can always try and if the points aren't added email them

                • @attalisie: Chance will be low as they used the word "OR" in the offer and I have already taken the lower offer.
