      Not all curries are Indian.

  • What's the usual price?

It's a new item so we haven't got a usual price yet.

So what's the bargain? This isn't OzRegularPrice, or OzFreeAdvertising.

        • Tell me where you can get Thai food for < $12. This is a deal - OP just doesn't know how to market it.

          • @CptnObvious: So every shop that regularly sells food for $10 could post every one of their dishes as a bargain?
            NO.

            • @seanbaussie: You are being overdramatic - it's like saying if you have a maccas $4 burger deal would you post it and the answer is yes. If it's a deal it's a deal, as long it's not being spammed every week.

            • @seanbaussie: And that happens all the time doesn't it ?

        • Hi GrueHunter,
The regular price for that dish is $15.90 as the reference menus link here https://www.mryum.com/dodee-bar-dining/menu/lunchspecial

  • $10.50, i guess!

  • Ooh, love khao soi (top 5 noodle dishes of the world, imho!) and love Dodee Paidang! Didn't even know there was a Dodee Bar offshoot (covid work from home!), but next time I'm actually in the city, I'll have to try!

Tbh, haven't really found a good khao soi in Melbourne…fingers crossed this is the one! :)

    • Can't wait for you to try it. Give us your thoughts.

  • OP please get it right - there is no such thing as a Thai "laksa". It is essentially a curry noodle dish, albeit very tasty when done right.

It helps people understand what it might be like. If we say Khao Soi maybe the understanding isn't quite there. Hope that can be excused.

      • No problem, I've had Khao Soi in its place of origin and liked it. It really is basically a chicken curry noodle dish.

        • Pretty much lol. Tastes quite Malaysian style but slightly bit sweeter.
