I’ve been rocking this $6.99 belt from Tarocash 3.5 years ago https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/416102

Maybe it’s time to invest a bit more since I’m a distinguished gentleman now…but all the monies I have saved since then!

  • yeah saved a fortune on belts lol

I never understood why so many people spend big money on these big brands. I mean at least R M Williams is an iconic Aussie brand, but there are plenty of small 1 man leather shops selling genuine full grain leather (the only type of leather that is real to me) gear for quite cheap. Example https://www.crocbelts.com/cowhide-leather-products/

Also people, you know you want one, https://www.crocbelts.com/product/kangaroo-scrotum-bottle-op… , https://www.crocbelts.com/product/kangaroo-scrotum-key-ring-…

    • You could say the same for most of luxury items, sometime an expensive item gives people more confidence in every day life. You don't buy a Rolex, for example, to know the time do you?

True true, but it gets a bit awkward when people are staring at your 'belt' the whole time you are talking to them, LOL.

        • I see ya girls checkin' out my trunks
I see ya girls checkin' out the front of my trunks
I see ya girls looking at my junk
Then checking out my rump, then back to my sugalumps

Yeah but MAN Rolex and top end watches look and feel so much better than cheapo watches.

This belt is just one you could get at most leather-workers with RM stamped in. Nothing special in looks or function.

        • Yeah with Rolex comparison I went over the top. Let's say Diesel jeans vs Target then. The point is if you get more confidence wearing some items instead of others then you are willing to fork out more.

  • How do you know what size belt to order. e.g. my shorts are size 36 which corresponds with 100cm length belt according to their table I copied below. But when I measure around my waist I get 110cm which makes me think I should order a belt that's 120cm in length?
    AUS/US Length of Belt (cm)
    28 80
    30 85
    32 90
    34 95
    36 100
    38 105
    40 110
    42 115
    44 120
