  • Using Raspberry Pi ARM Cortex-M0+ main control RP2040 microprocessor. This controller board onboard UART mode of TMC2209 and supports Klipper firmware.
  • BIGTREETECH SKR Pico V1.0 main control board heat sink design is newly upgraded, the heat dissipation area is enlarged, and the heat dissipation performance is greatly improved, which is both beautiful and practical.
  • Chip capacitors (MLCC) of the main control board are all Murata capacitors; well-known brand capacitors, with guaranteed quality and a better experience.

  • Not a bad price if you wanted to upgrade an original Ender 3 with silent steppers.

Except for the fact the USB port isn't in the right area, plus all terminal blocks will be blocked by the metal enclosure…sure.

Better off with SKR Mini E3.

      • Depends what you want to do. If you're running Klipper with a web UI the SD card and USB aren't important.

Depends how you run it. My Pi is in it's own case outside of the printer because I run a 4B and hence uses the mini-B. Regardless, some of the ports on this are gonna be blocked unless you plan on mounting the MCU outside of the printer and rerouting all cables.

    • It's just not a good choice for an ender 3 and I say that having designed a a bracket to make the board fit creality printers.
Also you need modify all 2 pin connectors and cut the tabs to fit the 3pin board sockets that take fans and endstops.

I play with boards like the Pi Pico, but struggled to figure out WTF you are selling. Is this for robotics projects? has H-bridges for motor control???

… Would it kill you to put "3D printer" in the title?!

  • Can someone clarify.. is this an all in one kit or do you need a separate Pi to make it work? One of the images shows what looks like a Pi Zero W being plugged in via GPIO..

SKR PICO motherboard can only use Klipper firmware, it must be used with Raspberry Pi

  • Yeah this has caught my eye,

would you use this on a new build or not a thing and it's just to replace on a existing printer?

This looks cool. I have no idea what it is though. And for that price, I want to buy it and then forget about it after looking at it for a while.

  • is this suitable for the Artillery Genius? First time i come across this klipper board thingy.
