Can you put hot liquids in these ?

    • Such as ?

        Coffee.

Would like to get one to use during the winter months at the footy.

I put soup in mine for this purpose.

However, occasionally a pea will block in the intake straw.

            @clandestino: Good idea…

I might try chicken and corn, so should be right…

Prefer not to pea during the game…

        • You'll get iced coffee by the time you drink it.

Purchased one of these for a run commute to work. It's been a great pack.

    • How much storage space is there?

      • +2

The size in the back of these 8 litre packs is about enough to fit a rolled up towel. You'll get a change of clothes but not shoes. It suits my needs (I leave a lot of things at work, don't have to bring clothes or a towel) but if I had my time again I'd get larger than an 8 for commuting purposes.
If you're getting it to carry gear for competitive long distance running it's probably a great size.

  • Damn. Would have gotten the XL one but sold out.

Comes with a Chinese Military Security subscription

  • Damn, I just bought one of these from runnerswarehouse for 160. Only S/M left but these are pretty well reviewed.

      RRP $145

      • RRP is $160, but it's reduced from $145. I was getting some other stuff from RW anyways so I wasn't bothered by the difference. However, it's a big difference now haha.

  • Only XS in stock?

My post 1 hr 40 mins before yours had L sizes available to me. Must have run out in that time.

Thanks OP! I have been considering getting a running vest for a while. I had the Advanced Skin 12 in mind but they are around $200 even on sale so I settled for this one. I managed to get the last one in my size, hopefully it fits well! I wasn't aware of the free delivery option, I nearly paid the $7.95 one which was automatically selected.

Yeah I've been on the lookout for a while as well, hopefully it works well for you. I've heard they're pretty decent when it comes to chest tightening/loosening

  • I've got a 12, which has more than enough space for a day-long ride or run. The hydration bladders are usually an extra cost so beware. That said, they are very easy to adjust through a big range of size and fit while on the move, and are comfortable. I'd prefer an 8, but was given a 12 in XL (I'm usually a S/M in clothing). It says a lot that I am able to make it fit anyway, there's a lot of room to adjust.
