  • With original price being $65 doesn't $20 off make it… $45+ delivery

    Am I missing another promotion?

    • $55-$20 = $35.

That's correct, when I go into the item it shows $65. $65-$20=$45.

Unusual as it shows as $55 for me.

          • @Clear: Haha that's very weird indeed. Maybe a cached price for me.

@Dvbargain: Yeah I was confused before as well, it's only at selected stores: Mansfield, Milton, Croydon, Belmont, and Osborne Park seems like.
Select one of them from the dropdown to the right of the add to cart button.

              • @klef: You are detective ozbargain tonight. Well done.

              • @klef: shows $65 no matter which store selected now

I changed the store from my local one to online and it became $55

  • Black one is $3 more.

  • i just built a new pc with a 5600 (using the stock cooler) and dont like the 70-80c i hit under load (previous old build with an i7 4790 would max out in the 60s with an antec c40)
i see there are many different versions of the 212 for similar prices, which would be the best? the black v2 is a bit cheaper than the rgb one, which performs better and is quieter?

    • I think the V2 uses a slightly better fan but it's not a bad choice either way. Whichever one is cheaper

    • The 212 design is similar across all variations. Just pick whichever you like. Adding 2 fans is going to make it louder and colder, but the improvement is marginal if you somehow get stuck with that decision.

      • I went with the V2 as I'm not really a fan of RGB and am a sucker for the simple black theme which was also a bit cheaper. $40 delivered seems quite good, hopefully it's not a pain in the ass to install.

Installed it today and temps went from ~50c while just using browser and -70c while gaming/80c stress testing to 30-40c using browser 50-60c while gaming and 69c max during stress tests

so about 10c+ better while also being quieter and looking much nicer in the case, definitely worth the $10

now i just need a quiter psu and my pc will be silent

    • Black v2 looks like only 1 fan though compared to this one which has 2.

    • 70-80c on a 5600x under load is v low lmao

      • My previous CPU would peak in the 60s with a budget aftermarket cooler so a nearly 20c increase was worrying lol

Hard to find a better Bang for Buck!
