Here to say these have been a joy to have for the past six months

    • I loved them too, used them for ~ 2 years. Upgraded to S360DB around 6 months ago when they dropped to historic low of $424 and wow the difference, I was not expecting that big of an upgrade. It's sad there aren't many detailed reviews of the S360DB, if I had known they were that much of an upgrade over the S350DB, I would have considered them from the start. But they were around $650 when I got the S350DB, so they were out of my budget back then.

      • Oh interesting to hear they're much better, I wouldn't have guessed. Can you elaborate in which way they are better

        • I've written this before about it, so I'll just post it here for you:

The S360DB sounds full. First of all, there is a big difference in bass performance. Although the sub-woofer performance itself is pretty much identical to the S350DB (albeit it’s wireless and much easier to setup), the two speakers on either side go way deeper than the S350DB speakers, giving the sound three layers of bass from all directions. You might be thinking, if the speakers on either side now have a lot more bass; then it might muddy the mids and the highs, you are wrong. The planar tweeters on the two speakers not only improve the imaging significantly in my opinion, they produce much cleaner mids and highs too. These combined, give a completely different layer to vocals. You can hear the rumble in those who have deeper voices, since both speakers go lower in the frequency range, you get sub-bass and bass from the woofer, and bass from the two speakers, while maintaining and improving clarity of the overall voices. As I stated earlier, the S360DB just sounds full in comparison to the S350DB. Like the S350DB all of sudden was 70% of the experience of the S360DB. Sound stage is bigger too, and instrument separation is great.

  • This or a soundbar? Mainly want it for tv and games but music good too

At the same price? Get these speakers. They are unbelievable value and sound quality.

100% these, there is no comparison unless you're getting ~$1000+ soundbar with woofer combo.

I love these products from Edifier. The only down side is it cannot work with the lastest technology HDMI ARC. So you will have to use 2 remotes which is not fun.

    • Any similar priced alternatives to sound bars for LG TVs with simplink? Or is the sync problems not worth the hassle

    • I use Bluetooth with Google TV so I can control the volume, can't do for regular TV

      • With TV you can use audio output 3.5 mm and connect to the speaker. The TV remote can control the volume but it doesnt sound “digital” anymore. You can notice the difference when you swap to SPDIF. Too bad hey
