    I’d rather injure myself…. 💤

Listening to opposition parties arguing and converse is as interesting as listening to toddlers battle it out over a crayon.

      • +1

If only your comment was a metaphor and not an actual description

      • +17

        At least the toddlers wouldn't:

        • Try to lie about the crayon's existence
        • Make up reasons as to why the crayon isn't a crayon
        • Go on at length on why the other toddler isn't fit to serve as Prime Crayon
        • Convince the onlookers that the first thing the other toddler will do is stick the crayon up their nose, which I definitely won't do (no that's not a crayon sticking out of my nose, I just have COVID).
        • Say the crayon was an absolute waste of tax payer money, if I am elected I will absolish the crayon! (at twice the expense of the original crayon procurement)
        • Draw comparisons between physical properties of the crayon and the unemployment rate, which no one ever asked for and makes no sense
        • Read everything from a script and still manage to get it wrong
        • +7

and after abolishing the crayon, hire PWC consultant crayons at three times the expense of the original crayon

          • @fmckenzie: Yes but we're SAVING taxpayer money by doing this! The the minister for Redface, Barnaby Crayon, would have spent 37.13 times that on crayon remediation works that are completely unnecessary! Their party isn't fit to lead chalk, let alone a crayon.

    • I’d rather injure myself…

Do you want someone from OzBargain community to whip you? Gently. ;)

      • +1

        Username checks out

  • +8

"Unscripted" lol mate both of them will be reading off a script whatever happens.

  • +15

Why would I need to watch, I already know who I'm not voting for.

    • +4

The party who lies most convincingly

    • +8

      OP did say "undecided Australians".

In which case, the deal should be labelled as Targeted.

  • +5

….who would pay to watch this? :p

    • +3

Gerry would make u pay 10% more

  • +20
    • I was literally going to reply to your comment with that link if it wasn't what you'd posted, bravo hahaha

  • +4

Every time i hear that charlatan talk on TV, i want to cut my ears off

    • want to know who are you referring to with that ?

      • -1

Refers to both of them doesn't it?

        • +2

well that's what I thought but if he/she meant that, he/she would have used those instead of that.

  • +7

u might need to pay me for this to be a bargain

  • +2

    Free sleeping pills!

  • Did this start before posted? Glad I missed it. What is usual price?

  • +7

The party that can secure PS5 stock is the party that wins the OzBargainer's vote.

    • +7

United Xbox For All Party has promised 1 XSX console per household.

      • +3

Sadly with supply shortages it's no more possible than the United Australia Party with "3% max interest on your mortgage"

Literally, the government is not to intervene in monetary policy. The UAP should literally be shut down for that. They don't deserve to exist. I wonder if it's the most moronic election promise I have ever heard, and that's after dealing with Scomo for years…

        • +5

"To improve the economy and people's individual wealth, we should just print more money" - Pauline Hanson 2011

          • +2

@the-fuzz: There really needs to be a minimum standard of education. Idiots in power do more harm than good.

        • +1

I'd think there would be a higher probability of fixing the tech supply chain logistics issues to accomplish this than a 3% max interest policy being possible.

          • +1

@tm32: Lol. True. Although you only need a few million voting idiots with no (high school level) economics education to change that.

Then watch as the banks refuse to provide new home loans whatsoever. It would almost be funny to watch.

The economy would literally destroy itself.

        • +3

What about "we need the subs NOW" as if they would be able to do anything about it. UAP is just a scam.

        • Problem is that it's out there now, and sadly, there's probably a lot of people that will believe that crap.

        • While I don't ever see that happening where I would focus on is banking charging a substantial amount more than the cash rate for example when cash rate is @0.1% a bank should be capped at 2% higher than the cash rate to charge home loan rates.

    • +1

Pfft, this is OzBargain, not OzRRP, they have to secure them at $748/unit.

    • +2

      Gerry for PM then

  • +6

As if we aren't sick of seeing these twats enough already without it being posted here.

  • +2

The hardest part of this is what reason to choose when reporting it.

so far 'Not available to Australia' looks good.

  • +3

Get this off here, its ozbargain not oz i want to make people throw up .

  • Lol scumdog scomo from marketing is winning if this is a deal

  • The true cost is the death of your brain cells from watching this.

  • +4

    Debate starts at 7pm.

You’d have to pay me a shitload to watch sky news for an extra 5 hours.

  • This deal is more disappointing than an unsalted pretzel.

    • +1

Says the man who was shot in the head…

      • He'd sure be an expert on what's mind-blowing though

  • +11

I'm sure the 5 hours of skynews coverage before the election will be unbiased and provide even coverage and criticism of both parties……

  • +4

Not a deal and it should be free anyway.

  • I wouldn’t like to see it even if you would like to pay me for it!

  • +1

Although I do not like either of the politicians, I would like to watch this.
Last time I loved the conversation between Waleed Aly and Scomo.
Neither of them were backing down. At the end of the conversation, I saw people leaning left towards Waleed were were more confidant with their stand and people leaning right towards Scomo were more inclined to Scomo idealogy. When I say people, I mean my friends and family. I would watch this.

    • -2

      Lol scumdog scomo negged u

  • +6

    Date night, sorted

    • +3

Debate between Scott Morrison and Anthony Albanese @ Sky News and chill.

  • +5

I will watch this. Despite all the hate here. The reality is that we will need to choose a political party. The one who represents the party is one facet.
Also I am really bothered by the way people are disrespecting either politician. I completely stand by people who are against the values or lack of intervention displayed by PM or OL. However all these name calling that happens here is just a sign of how disrespectful people have become.
It actually saddens me that people think it's OK.

    • “Leave ScoMo alone!”

      • It's both of them.
Look two comments above me and you will notice the slander towards Anthony as well.

      • -1

        Lol albo negging again

    • +1

You're almost right. Except what you're hearing is complete lack of faith for a useful government to be elected. And that, despite being voiced poorly, is totally valid.

      • +1

I completely agree with you. Having lack of faith in our political parties is completely OK and valid. It's the voicing poorly that concerns me.
I've always grown up trying to be respectful to others and I would always hope that the respect is returned in kind.
I don't need to see eye to eye with the other party for me to still treat them like a human being.

    • This is a liberal democracy. It is our responsibility to talk crap about our political leaders! And our duty to pick the least shitty party to run our government.

  • +2

    Sick of watching ScoMo’s face

    • +2

See a doctor if ur sick before medicare dissappears

  • +3

If you're aren't already across the policies you should read those rather than waste time on this.

    • Lol what policies

      • +2

Don't ask the United Australia Party. The moron's main promise is an impossible lie and literally breaks Australia. Don't interfere with monetary policy FFS.

      • Soundbites > Policies

  • +4

Are there literally any undecided voters that watch this to help makeup their mind? Seems to me the only people that watch are the rusted on supporters looking for confirmation their guy is best and the other guy is a bum.

    • +1

      Its like Footy, yay team…

  • +12

    F Skynews

    • +5

      Isnt it ur food?

      • +4

        Trolls have standards

  • +4

Why wouldn't this be free given the free news coverage of it, sky news uploading it in pieces on their YouTube channel for the next week and all the regional areas that have free access to sky news.

    • +1

Because this is one of the few ways the liberal party can still give Murdoch more money before being booted out

    • +4

This gets my goat. We live in a country in which everyone has to vote so voting can actually change things if people could get over themselves and actually look at policies.
      This isn’t America.

      • -2

No it can't change anything as the system is made that way that ALWAYS 1 of these 2 MUST win! The winner is in ADVANCE known, this circus/shared where you go out and put a mark on a paper, make yourself feel like you matter, you're making a change, choice, got a voice etc. It's just for public. Winner is already known. There's 1 agenda, same agenda, you'll just have one of these 2 as the messenger, mouth pice. All these clowns know each other for generations, go to same private schools, will be a politician or a banker, same sect gatherings, marry and breed just between each other so the magic and power stays between the chosen and selected, preordained circle etc. The less you know the better. Better.

        • +1

Oh sorry, I didn’t know you were so far gone.
Maybe look up the leftist past that Albanese is trying to distance himself from leading up to this election. They’re not all the same.

    • +5

How are they the same? Labor were some of the best economic leaders in the world when they were holding government and had to deal with the GFC. The Liberal party has squandered our natural resources, poisoned our land, doubled the national debt and handed out money to any large corporation that asks nicely.

      • +3

        Sometimes the corporations aren't even asking… 😔

  • lol

  • +2

    sick of both of them
neither could be trusted to run a bloody bath

  • +10

Why on earth is this on the Rupert channel? We literally have a publicly-owned TV network in this country.

    • +1

This is what I don't get.

  • +1

    Dumb and dumber 🤦‍♂️

  • +3

    What’s the normal price?

  • +1

It's like choosing the lesser of two evils… It would be nice to get a Politician who actually works for the people & not their own back pockets

  • +2

I should be paid to watch this for it to be a deal

  • This must be worst than any subs deals people are complaining all the time.

  • Watch this instead https://youtu.be/ZV8dekmsfIE

  • +1

    Lol. Fox… Sorry Sky news

  • Needed the worm………

  • not a bargain. not unbiased

  • my comment gets flagged as "inappropriate use of negative vote" when I said this post is not a deal. How is it appropriate then that politics is being promoted on a deal site. A deal suggests that there is something of value. There is no value for me watching a discussion between these two.

  • will abbo even prepare? or just wing it like he has

and everything thats been done/be done better in hindsight

    should call him capt hindsight…

  • -4

I vote for the right to NOT VOTE and have the freedom not to. I am not going to vote for a govenment full of idiots.
