Good reason to close your account with Bank of Melbourne…

    • Screw Rupert.

    • popping into comment during your Binge ad break?

  • Available through St George offers too. I think it's under the Westpac umbrella.

Just be careful, they're notoriously difficult to cancel with and double charged me a while back and their customer service was non-existent - so I've never gone back.

    • Cancellations are unavailable online?

They put up a fight but I've got them to reverse a charge when I thought it was cancelled twice.

They're a bit better now too because you can sign in with email to the payment section, used to only be a mobile and I didn't have the connected number anymore at the time, was a pain in the arse.

Still worse than any other service, and the way they swap the placement of the cancel or continue buttons on the final step and then require a confirmation to save it too, very deceptive.

Amazon are great if you stuff up, like if the missus left the card on there and the baby yelled for a song on Echo and said yes to a free trial of their music program and then it goes and auto renews. They've instantly refunded that particular situation for us at least 3 times no fuss.

    Available for Westpac customers too.

    • That's terrible…

      It's like a virus.
