Hi everyone,

It's Peter from OECK here. We are running a special which gives customers a further 15% discount on all of our VPN plans. Coupon will work on both plan and prepaid. We offer a 30 day money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the service.

The updated pricing will be as follows;

$8.45 USD per month ( 1 Month Plan )

$70.96 USD per 12 months ( 12 Month Plan )

Oeck is a new type of VPN with industry-first features. We own all of our own hardware and do not use hard drives at all. Our VPN nodes are RAM only and we do not log user VPN traffic or activity.

Our system is highly automated so that you don't need to go server surfing to find a server for channels such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. Simply connect to the VPN region closest to you and we take care of the rest. We have 30 Netflix regions available and many other streaming services which can be independently set ( similar to how a smartDNS service works, but this is built into the VPN itself! ).

  • Is the app for mac up?

    • +2

      Hi Ilove,

We teamed up with passepartout for Mac and iOS as their app is fantastic. It is usually a premium app but you can use it for free with OECK. Just click on "add provider" and select OECK. Then login and connect.

      Regards,
      Peter @ OECK.

      • since when has this been up? I waited for some time for alternative to tunnelbrick as I didn't know how to use it.

        • +1

This has been up for a few months now. If you have not been using your service due to this reason, please open a support ticket with your account and I'll credit it with a few months of time. Tunnelblick should have worked for you though. Cameron or myself should have gotten you up and running via support tickets. If we failed you on that, please accept my apologies. If you ever run into problems, just be sure to let us know via support and we will get you up and running.

          Regards,
          Peter @ OECK.

  • Can we use this VPN in Dubai ?? Whatsapp calling, few oz websites etc.. are possible only when VPN is On.

    • Hi abhi900,

We do have users in heavily restricted countries using our VPN. You can always just give it a shot. If it does not work, you have 30 days to get a refund. So it is risk-free.

      Regards,
      Peter @ OECK.

  • Honestly you'd be better of waiting for those 95% cashback offers for either surfshark or Nord

  • Hey Peter, does your app.work well on Android TV? (Google TV).

So say once I connect, I can use iView, Kayo, then without doing anything I can use Hulu, BBC player, etc like a smart DNS?

If so, how do you handle stuff that use the same CDN servers like Ch9 & ABC US, NBC, Showtime
    Or SBS & CBC, Paramount+, HBO ?

We have 30 Netflix regions available and many other streaming services which can be independently set

So how do you manually change regions? I can't see anything in the app.

Lastly in your android app, when I goto Menu -> device settings. The app crashes & closes. I've cleared cache, uninstall->reinstalled. Logged out-> in.

    Android 12, 1 March 2022 update

    • Hi M00Cow,

Android TVs are all slightly different to each other. The best way to know if yours will work would be to test it on it first.

We handle the CDN stuff in a similar way a smartDNS service would. You can just login to the OECK website, select your VPN device profile and set the channel settings in our portal. When you reconnect to the VPN, it will follow the channel settings.

The Android settings is a bug. We are actually getting rid of the app soon, but you can set all of the settings from within the website rather than the app.

We built all of our cool features into the back-end rather than the apps, to allow users to use any client they like and not miss out.

      Regards,
      Peter @ OECK.

      • Oh if you get rid of the android app how do you connect on Google TV?

Being able to have the kids use the app on the tv to change regions, rather then ask dad to do it isn't very helpful.

        • Hi M00Cow,

You can use the OpenVPN Connect app for Android instead. Some of our users actually prefer this way of connecting.

          Regards,
          Peter @ OECK.
