Oral B's electric toothbrush heads reach deep between teeth and cover more surface than a regular manual toothbrush. They're compatible with all Oral B rechargeable electric toothbrush handles, except for Oral B sonic toothbrushes. This pack contains eight Precision Clean and two Cross Action toothbrush heads.

I recommend buying an oral b pro 2000. It does everything you need for an electric toothbrush without all the extras that you may use or not on more expensive ones. This 10 pack is a very cost effective way as usually two cross action heads are 12 dollars (depending where you go).
Agreed with @Colaris on oscillating toothbrushes, especially since these also have a pressure sensor. I'm a dental student so was wondering if your dentist recommended you an electric toothbrush during your appointment? If you're going for Oral B though, then a good recommendation for gum recession and enamel abrasions would be the sensitive heads + pro 2000 toothbrush. It's a bit more expensive than these heads from Costco, but if you're getting into using an electric toothbrush for the first time then the sensitive heads might be easier on your teeth + gums.
get one with a sensor which lights up red when you press too hard.
a cheaper Oral B will not have this function.
The oral b pro 2000 as stated above has this function. It's really useful
Any smart OzBargainers can guide me on converting to electric toothbrushes in a cost effective way?
I'm switching from ultra soft manual toothbrushes because dentist says I'm getting sensitivity from aggressive brushing causing enamel abrasions and early gum recession (but at least no decay for years 😅).
Would this, a standard Oral B unit and then 10pck replacement heads, be a good way to go about it?
