  • When will Guzman come to the middle/outer suburbs?

    • the distances the bike delivery needs to ride in outer suburbs would be pain ….. inner city it’s just dangerous …..

  • +2

Tried this today. You need to add extra fillings to make it taste good. The basic burrito is just rice and beans with a small amount of your chosen protein.

    • I've eaten 100s of their burritos and never had that problem. I'd give them another go.

      • Name and shame your store because I've hit the same number and overtime old mates description is true

  • +1

Seems a good offer but personally I prefer Zambrero'… anyone else?
Mind you I only ever have Burritos'.

    • +1

Zambrero’ burritos are pretty good. I get chicken enchiladas from GyG pretty damn good.

      • Cheers, will check out sometime soon.

      • Zambrero are bland

    • +3

Try madmex if you got one nearby. I reckon they are much better value.

      • Yes, been meaning to check them out. Cheers for the suggestion/advice.

      • Madmex also bland.

    • +2

GyG is bog average. It's not bad tasting, but very overpriced and too heavy on the rice and not spicy enough for me.

    • +1

I agree Zambrero are good, especially their power burrito.

    • +1

      Agree, Zams beats GYG

  • +1

I've got Uber Pass but strangely cannot see this deal. I tried many locations as the delivery address.

  • My GYG is “unavailable” on my Uber eats tonight.

    • +1

Update: GYG back online, I added slow cook beef x 2 and Guacamole plus a side of sour cream. This put my order up over $20 to get free delivery (normally $5) Ended up costing $7.80 Inc extras and fees :)

    • Same
      Typical advertising via deal bullshit

  • Perfect to combine with $10 Cheddar cashback

    • Have your UE orders been tracking for you?

      • I tried to place two and both got cancelled by the restaurant. I will try with this offer.

Where does it say 1 redemption per account?
The recent Grill’d free burger deal was repeatable and I read the terms of this deal and it just seems to say limited to first 11,500 redemptions. No account limitation?

    • That is what I was gonna ask above, then I read the original post and it said 1 per account.

I think if you try order a second one it shows full price?

      • +1

Yes, not able to order a second time with this deal, so it must be one per account.

And yes, Cheddar is tracking for uber eats, it just takes time.

        • Damn - I was preparing myself for a week of burritos!

  • Also has anyone had this tracked with Chedder?

  • Can't see in my account. Where are people seeing the offer?

    • Doesn’t work for pick up. You need to choose delivery. Also you can try search for Guzman.

      • It does work for pick up! And there's an extra $5 off for pick up, too.

  • Seems to only work once per account per store.

    • Just adding to this after I used it.

Indeed it appears to be once per account per store.

Luckily, I have 15 other GYG stores that deliver to me via UE so I will still be having burritos all week!

      • Can anyone else confirm this? Just tried a different GYG store and full price is showing after I used it once at another GYG store….

        • It will depend on the store. Some show as having the $1 burrito for me and some don’t. It seems to change over time too so try the next day or next meal. I’ve used it twice so far from 2 different stores.

Interestingly, I can’t seem to order delivery from distant GYG stores anymore, but can still order from other stores 20km away. I canorder $1 burrito from those GYG stores as a pickup.

          • @AaronR: You are right. That is working. Would have thought they would have sold out by now.

  • Worked great. $1 burrito turned out to be the $14.90 burrito but you could add extra toppings like usual. Worked with a 10% Uber perks reward discount too.

  • I can't find how to sign up to uber pass on the uber or uber eats app :(

    • Click on "Get Pass", bottom right icon in Uber Eats app

      • Can't see it :( Icons are Home, Browse, carts, account. In account no mention of it either.

        • Yes for some reason some people are unable to see Uber Pass within the app, despite the app being up to date. Strange. This has been the case for a while now..

        • Try and change your delivery location to a metro city area in Brisbane or Sydney for example, you might be able to trigger it through that and it'll show up in "My Account" under Uber Pass.

  • Cheddar cashback (with $2 bonus) has not tracked, last order with $10 bonus was next day..

  • Is the deal still working? Tried placing an order when it was showing as working yesterday but offer no longer appears active.

    • Yes I can still see it at heaps of stores in Brisbane.

      • Ok, wow changed my address to Brisbane and there are a lot of stores with the offer. Also played around with other addresses in Sydney and can see that the offer does work at some stores. Thanks.

Maybe there is a limit with different stores and location does seem to matter about if the offer is available or not.

      • It has probably ended now.

Not able to see this offer for any Brisbane or Sydney stores
