    A word of warning regarding Card.Gift

    Card.Gift may randomly cancel your order for no obvious reason. This happened to a lot of people in a previous deal.

    Card.Gift also do not accept cards with no 3D Secure support (e.g. prepaid gift cards).

    actually, just bought $10 and tried to add it. force you to install the app and it is crap, asking for your personal details multiple times, every 5 sec complaining that it cannot access to google pay wallet
    no card number, so it cannot be used for online payments for like subscribing to trial period of services etc.
    not recommended

      You will receive a message with the link for your Digital Mastercard and there is a flip button in the right top corner if you want the CVC. I bought one in the morning.

          asked for phone number as the link only can be delivered by sms.
          clicked on link and it redirected to install their app. from description:
          Click on the link in your SMS and follow the prompts to download The Card Network (TCN) app. In the TCN App tap “View Card Information” and then tap on the “Add to Wallet” button. Follow the prompts to add your card to your mobile wallet. Your card will then be ready to 'Tap & Pay' at venues that accept contactless payments..
          just checked - in google pay only last 4 digits showing and no flip button available

      Why not just use your "new credit card" as aren't these considered a credit card as well in the eyes of the council etc i.e. it's a Mastercard.

        Some credit card did not give points if you pay for government related expenses and I dont remember which ones lol :)

          Now almost all cards exclude government related spends for points.

          However, im not sure this will work as the above suggests you dont get a card number to pay your rates. Unless you pay in person at the council office ….maybe??

          Looks like it needs to be added to Google pay etc? And used as a tap and go card only?

    anyone else see a different email when clicking on the sms to activate it? Its a bit of a worry i wonder how secure their site is? also had 2 pub cards on tcn app that have $0 balance that i brought last year but cant see any history. not sure if i used full balance or not. anyone know for how long purchase history is viewable ?

    But I couldn't work out how to get card details without installing the app.

    Impossible to get, like last time https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/681310#comment getting "security reasons" for cancellations.

    Their support is absolutely useless as well. I was told to make sure I input the correct phone number, but there is no field to enter a phone number…
