@bobwokeup: Hmmm my experience is the other way around. Came from Belong, 3 months later i want to go back even tho i paid for more download (93/20) but too many drop outs.
@Bargain-er: Oh interesting, I guess it depends on location too. I also get dropouts with Superloop but not as bad. It was the customer service that did it for me.
Do I have to cancel my existing plan or does that get done automagically when the service switches over?
It happens automatically but apparently it depends on the provider. Spintel needed me to confirm that I transferred out and then they cancelled my service, which all happened after I was already connected with Superloop.
Check your current providers T&C's. Most like you to let them know to ensure that Auto Billing doesn't kick in. Others like TPG require 30 days notice so best check.
Oh damn good to know. I’ve only recently had to change providers so I didn’t know any of them would need any prior notice. Especially as most of them don’t lock you into a contract but I guess that’s how they try to keep you and make it difficult to leave.

They 'may' (aka will definitely sell) your data to third parties, so expect calls from other ISPs trying to win your service after you've signed up for superloop.
If switching plan within superloop after activation, still eligible for the $100 gift card?
My service is meant to switch over to Superloop today, but have not received any form of communication since the first lot of emails I got when I signed up.
Is this normal? Don't want to be left without internet over the weekend…how I will get my GIft card?
I ordered and I got a new Connuation.I contacted Superloop and apparently the activation is being delayed to there being an active service on my line with the old provider and until the line is free, they can't activate the service. Has anyone experienced this? The support agent said the order was processed as a new connection rather than a transfer and hence the reason. However, Ecconex form didn't ask any questions about whether it's a new connection or a transfer when I signed up. It only asked whether I'm moving or not.
Hopefully it all just activates automatically once Mate cuts my service tonight. I won't be a happy customer if I'm left without internet access at home all weekend.so….anyone gotten their giftcard yet?

I got an email with my two $50 vouchers too. I thought it was a scam and totally forgot about this deal! What a nice surprise! :)
Bloody hell! I thought it was spam and deleted it. I thought it was sus especially when it said to delete the email afterwards.
