A new low for this excellent tablet and in my opinion one of the best Android tablets for under $500 that you can buy. Xiaomi are also releasing Android 12L soon and this new version of Android is designed specifically for tablets.

The 6GB/128GB tablet is US$339.10 (~A$456.96), while the 6GB/256GB tablet is US$380.90 (~A$516.64) with the code.

Featuring Widevine L1 DRM for FHD Netflix/Amazon Prime, an impressive 11" 2560x1600 120Hz IPS display with 600nit brightness, HDR, Dolby Vision and DCI-P3 support. It features MIUI 12.5 for Tablets (Android 11, OTA to MIUI 13 / Android 12) with Google Play, 6GB RAM, 128GB (or 256GB) UFS 3.1 storage and packs the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 CPU with an Adreno 640 GPU making it perfect for gaming.

Other features include 4 speakers with Dolby Atmos, 8720mAh battery with 22.5W USB-C PD charging, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, Wifi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. Check out reviews from Techtablets, GSMArena and xiaomify.

Widevine L1 for Prime HD/Netflix:

Currently there is a bug impacting some people where Widevine L1 reverts back to L3 making Netflix/Prime play in SD. There's discussion surrounding fixes such as updating the Widevine Certificate and disabling automatic brightness or clearing the app cache.

    • If netflix in hd is important to you. Go for tab s8.

Having to fiddle with widevine cert sounds more hassle than its worth.

      • Thanks

  • Is there a way to speed up delivery for this site. End of April seems like an awfully long time to wait.

Also what happens if you're not at home for the delivery, do they have a local depot, or attempt re-delivery? TIA.

    • You could have paid for express delivery but as some experiences with places like banggood. It dont do jack if at all.

  • How is everyone getting Galaxy Tab S8 for $700??

    • I believe they're doing trade ins with Samsung to get the discount.

      • That or selling a kidney. Yours is more plausible.

        • 100%. There's an argument about it one of my other posts.
