@Seaword: Go around/elsewhere and do some of the mini dungeon/catacombs instead, as well as runes, you'll eventually amass since better gear and spirit ashes if soloing is tough.
(And there's a merchant that will sell you something to temporarily stun Margit).
But yeah Margit sucked, that stupid pause as it winds up to attack got me triggered and rolling too early every time for a while.

Previous patch notes said that it's fixed and I haven't noticed a drop in over 1 week. But it could also be me just phasing them out after playing too much.

Adding a difficulty setting would ruin the entire point of the game
but there is always the option of farming, and leveling up before the next challenge, so in a sense, that could make the game easier if you so desire.
Nevertheless, it is a challenge, but an enjoyable one if you like these type of games.
Or pompompom could just do magic build, that's not too far off an easy mode
No need for a difficulty setting, you're given all the tools required to succeed. You've just got to be willing to learn the mechanics of the game and from your mistakes.

It’s a challenge, but not exactly hard.. it’s all about leveling up your character and finding new equipment and learning as you go

I bought the PS4 version and there were no issues with the upgrade. From memory when you put the disc in your PS5 it recognised it, and asks if you want to install the PS5 version instead. Great game and looks incredible.
I've put in 157 hours and am still on the first boss. Excellent game, highly recommended.

BTW, if anyone tells you to grind runes in this game, don't. It's not like other Souls games. You don't need to grind to level up.
If you're stuck on a boss then just go elsewhere. There's masses to do before the first main boss. You could do a solid 30 hours before even needing to fight him without grinding. And if that's still not enough, you can skip him altogether.
This game is amazing. Just a heads up that the VPN process is super simple if people want to save more, I did it Nord VPN.

Yea. She surprisingly doesn't have much poise. Her bs sudden attack at the beginning of second phase killed me many times but the rest were manageable.
I legit had more trouble with 3 crystalians. I was seething during that absolute bs boss fight.
Someone offered me a used copy for $60 is that to much?
I also got offered GT7 for $55 and horizon forbidden west for $55

Elden Ring will likely hold its value for a very long time. Sekiro has hardly ever gone on sale for example, if ever (I think I've seen it go on sale once or twice on Steam).
Other two games will likely drop down further sooner or later, but $60 for Elden Ring is not bad at all.
