Just what I never knew I always needed

  • Never noticed the led area doesn't cover the whole hex so there's a white edge, doesn't look very good in the pics on the amazon link =/

They pretty much go to all the edges except the 3 points of the triangle (which I have). Looks good, and provides a nice low light which is preferable to standard house lights.

I dunno what the hell the amazon pics are doing, it does look terrible. Watch a youtube vid to get a better idea of how it looks.

    • Indeed, the pictures make it look like Alibaba brand copies where they've just stuck a coloured sticker over a plastic light.

  • 3 Pack Expansion Set also 46% off and perfect if you already have the starter kit.
EDIT: same price @ wireless 1 via eBay but can be combined with coupon and giftcards.

  • Same price here it seems (wireless 1 via eBay $215.59) but can be combined with coupon PLSMAR5/7 and giftcards.

Still try to figure out what it is. Guess I don’t need it!

  • There's some cheaper option on aliexpress hehe

Read the app reviews prior to purchasing. Don't make the same mistake I did.
These look great, but the app is pure shite.
I've managed to get a routine set up with mine, now I don't touch the settings (Would take me hours to do so even if I wanted to).
The software really lets these down, and I cannot recommend them at all.

    • The app isn’t amazing but all the manufacturer apps are pretty average, I wouldn’t say this is worse than any others. Really don’t know what you could be doing that would take hours to re-create…

These days I manage everything like routines etc through the Apple Home app as it manages everything in one place (there’s also the Google Home app if you’re on Android). I just jump into the manufacturer apps if I need to do more customised colours

  • Bought the canvas ones 6mths ago on a decent deal. I love my wifi lights and have them all over the place but this is one that has the least utility to me. Once it's set up on a wall, it's a bit of a pain to rearrange it and I have just left it where it is since I put it up. The lights themselves are nice looking and does the job but looking back, I do regret the purchase even though it was a good deal.
