good price but I don't recommend them.

    they fall out very easily.

    • I'm so torn on these.
I have owned and used these for a little under a year now and sound wise they're great, the noise cancelling is pretty good too. But despite all the various sized buds they provide, I can't seem to find ones that fit comfortably in my ear without feeling tight or feeling like they're on the edge of falling out.
I dunno, maybe I have weird shaped ears.

      • No its a bad design fitment wise.

i owned a pair and tried all different bud tips but couldnt get it to sit well.

I sold my set to get airpods pro and never looked back.

The stock tips are terrible. I recommend comply tips. With them they don't fall out for me.

      • Good to know! I'll give them a try.

      • +1

I second this. I use comply tips with mine and absolutely love them.

    • +1

For me, these are the most comfortable earphones I've ever owned. Returned airport pros because they were so uncomfortable for me. plus these sound better than pros.

    • Mine hold perfect but I use Comply foam tips with them rather than the standard ones

    • +1

+1 for this. Would not recommend either.

    • Depends on your ears. I've never had they fall out, other than when I'm wearing them under ear muffs while mowing and sweating like crazy. Have owned mine over over a year now.

  • +2

I don't recommend them either. Had some and had to get them replaced under warranty due to pairing issues. So many issues.

EG: 1 earbud not connecting, the charging case not charging correctly and now the battery is awful and lasts only an hour. My WH-1000XM3 still going strong though.

    • You r lucky mine broke down just outside of warranty period

  • +1

Had them but not very comfortable. Didn't quite fit right and very bulky. Moved over to airpod pro's and much better in regards to comfort.

  • +2

I'm looking for wireless earbuds at the moment but heard these aren't good for calls. Need a good allrounder, looking at the Jabra 75t, 85t and Galaxy Buds 2 / Pro.

    • Microphone quality is poor for phone calls

    • +3

Have a look at the Edifier NeoBuds Pro. Amazon have them for $96 at the moment, and in some areas rival the bigger players in performance.

Alternatively, the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro is available on Amazon for $206 which gets rave reviews in all areas.

    • +2

I had the Sonys. Good for listening to music, but they didn't sit securely in my ear so it felt like they were constantly going to fall out. Really average for calls as well, especially when you're out and about. I switched to Galaxy Buds Plus. Way better.

    • +2

I have Buds2 and use them to record videos with voice. I find the mic quality more than acceptable. Apparently Pros have better mics than Buds2, but I don't see a need for better quality mics than the Buds2 have. ANC is also decent. I also find Buds2 really comfortable, but everyone is different in terms of ear bud comfort and ear shape.

      • +1

Thanks all, leaning towards the Buds2 considering many are also being listed cheap due to the S22 deals.

Just bought a pair of JBL Club Pro+ from JB Hifi.

Price matched moblieciti and got it down to $150 at JB.

Great set of ear buds at that price and highly recommend. Great bass and volume, also good on calls too.

      • -1

Terrible product though..I can see why so many discounts popping out almost every month?

Look for proper user reviews..some reviews are tainted by paid reviews it seems. Hard to tell i guess. I fell for those reviews and Regret my purchase..

        • What do you mean terrible product? If there was a negative I would have mentioned it. Only one I can think of is the touch button controls are a bit fiddly, in that it takes a couple of attempts to find where to press.

  • I had these before and they fit alright. Now I have the XM4s and now it feels like a buttplug in my ears.

    • +1

      Buttplug > earplug

    • +1

so is that good or bad?

      • Both. It hurts but the sound isolation is great.

        • Please be aware NC overcompensates too much..can’t really use in any noisier condition than in a quiet room.

Or turn off the NC completely..

  • +1

Had the newer version(4), didnt like it, sync issue, left one was not working randomly, when walking outside I had connectivity issues, returned to JB after a week use

    • -1

I love my Sony headphones though, best of the best better than previous one (Bose)

  • -1

Does noise cancelling work great on a flight?

    • +1

Not as good as headphones, but they're okay if they sit in your ears properly in order to create a seal.

      • Highly recommend headphones for frequent flights..seriously you would thank me later..

    • Used this model on a flight pre-pandemic. Was pretty good if you can get a good seal. I found them more effective than my Bose QC35 back then. (Yup had them both on the plane).

  • +1

I dont recommend. Too many issues and very uncomfortable. Constant issues with connecting to devices.
Watching youtube vids and skipping the vid cut BT connection.
Have other earbuds like the Jabra 75T and has no issues. I believe it is poor software coding and design.

  • +1

I don't recommend them either, regretful purchase.
I bought different tips for them and they don't fit well either.

  • Great sound quality but a pain to fit in ear.

  • Keen for the xm4s to be this price 😌

  • -3

    these have 0 NC
moved to Bose Quietcomfort earbuds and never looked back

    • -1

???? No noise cancellation? You've got to be joking

      • -2

        truth is bitter mate
        its NC is zeroooooooo
        u hardly hear/feel that effect
        useless product

buy xm4 or bose quietcomfort earbuds when on sale for around $200 (discounted every few months)

        • yep xm4 better for listening to porn discretely ….

  • Great price for great set of earphones. I bought at a slightly better price of $133 at Binglee when they were running 25% off headphones deal

  • +1

Just like all the other comments, would not recommend at all, I started having horrible battery life and send them for warranty, they came back full of fingerprints and they pointed me to some weird document which had small print saying with noise cancelling and THX sound on they will only last 2 hour.

I start getting low battery messages 30-40 minutes in.

    Tldr: Sony warranty crap
    Battery life is horrible
    Fitment is horrible

  • +1

Sound ok. Battery average. And the fit is probably the worst of any headphone I've ever tried. Get airpods or one of the excellent cheaper headphones you can now get.
I have airpod pros but honestly the soundpeats H1 smash them for sound and I got the soundpeats mini pro which have a shorter battery, but anc is included and are a smaller fitting profile which is great.
Bluetooth 5.2 and aptx.. I literally don't rate the overpriced Sony's and Airpods I have in comparison.

Anyway, hard pass on the XM3s.

Also been mindful that some headphones like Jabra won't allow you to use the left earbud on its own.

    • What's your recommendation for the Soundpeats H1 and Mini Pro? I was looking at the Jabra's and Galaxy Buds2 but keeping my options open. Any downsides from your experience?

      • +3

Mini pros are more comfortable. Have noise cancelling as well. Battery is about 5.5hr with anc, 7hr off.

H1s sound just a touch (a touch) better, have better battery but no anc. However they sit deep in the ear almost to a fault. They don't need anc tbh because the seal is so good but it does cause me some discomfort after a few hours.

Jabras you have to use right bud, the left bud isn't a master bud, so if you try and use the left only, it won't work.

  • +5

I am pretty surprised that so many people have issues with these. I don't like the stock silicon tips, but comply foam works well for me. I use mine almost daily for years now.

I really want to upgrade to XM4 but I just can't justify it when my XM3 still work flawlessly.

This price is great. I think I paid double.

    • +3

Same experience here. Pretty sure I'll go to XM4 when these finally die. Not a fan of how they look, but from all reports, the noise cancelling is amazing on the XM4.

    • I got this and more sitting in the drawer after I upgraded to the new Xm4.

You will feel the difference in sound quality and ANC. New one is way better and not to mention about the auto talk detection, it’s so convenience.

      • I found the xm3 sound better to me than the xm4 strangely. ANC and fit is better on the xm4 though!

        • +1

That's because they are. The xm4 have a darker frequency response. Meaning more bass and less treble and mids. This can lead to less perceived "detail" in the sound

  • +1

not sure if this model but I bought some expensive SONY Wireless Noise Cancelling Earphones like these and found the noise cancellation totally useless

I returned them to Addicted to Audio where I asked the guy if the noise cancellation was working - he tried them and said it was - so I stepped outside (noisy bus idling at bus stop just outside) where I switched the noise cancellation on and off - no, couldn't hear any difference

so I came back into the quieter studio - continued switching noise cancellation on and off trying to hear any difference - finally - after a looong time I heard a very tiny reduction in high frequency hissing noise

I was WTF that's no use if it makes no difference to the very loud low frequency idling bus engine noise - and got my money back

now have 2 pairs of Bose QC35 over ear headphones which we use everyday - sounds fine, doesn't fall off, comfortable for long periods, noise cancellation just works.

    • Was it to do with how well the tips sealed in your ear canals? I know with my Buds2 that the ANC works well when I have a good seal, but if I don't insert them properly, ANC doesn't work because the external noise can get past.

Sony is well known for the quality of their ANC systems so no offence, but I'd say the shape of your ear canals were the problem. Presumably the Bose buds fit your ears better.

      • I’m not sure I can agree..ANC is horrible..have u tried outdoor?

        • I haven't used these do I can't comment specifically. But I have other buds with ANC and it's poor if you don't get a good seal.
