Unless you have FTTH or a need to move large amounts of data around your local network the 100Mbit interface will not be the bottleneck and will be suitable for 95% of home users. Additionally you can easily bypass this limitation by using a MW5 node or any of their better models (which have a gigabit interface) at the gateway. Tenda allow you to mix and match.
It already says 0 available. Page says Item out of stock
Gee, this wouldn't be Harris Technology by any chance, would it?
They served me very well for the last couple of years, crazily stable never had any issue.
Upgraded to MW6 last year because I switched to 250 NBN, MW3 only gave me 100mb due to the 100mb limited port.
I would say if you don’t have NBN above 100mb and don’t have NAS or anything requires heavy traffic, it’s a very good MESH around home. From my own experience even two devices on wifi running 4K Netflix still very smooth via MW3.Great price…if only I hadn't just bought a used 3 pack for $60.
Even if you had paid $90 it would have been better than this out of stock deal.
does this need ethernet wallport at every corner where the nodes will be put, or it does via beam. Like only 1 x Cube needs connection the rest can just be plugged to electricity in other rooms and they catch up wirelessly .. I have concrete walls and I am wondering how this will work, any technical know how would be useful.
regards
One Tenda MW3 gets plugged into the nbn connection box or ISP modem. All three Tenda MW3 communicate to each other over Wi-Fi.
I believe you can plug them in too? Though you don't have to.
yeah these are really old there are reviews on youtube for this too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jquGcevEybI
