      You're better off. Folding screens are better but still very fragile, besides the camera setup isn't as cutting edge, there's issues with them, it's not just about which costs more.

    Get ready to be a new parent. Have to really take care of this baby.

    • What a sh*t way to waste nearly $2K.
      Not disagreeing with the quality of the electronics or the brand.
      And innovation does need support if the benefit is worthwhile.
      I only hope Samsung will challenge cheaper brand again one day.

      • They do, that's what the A series are supposed to do.

  • So after trade-in $750 voucher applies 🤣🤪👀

  • I wonder what is the best value phone to buy to trade in…

    • If you have friends from other countries, you can use their imei amd use it in the app. If they are same model

      • You can get an imei from Google

        • Yeah, but that might land you into trouble for using unknowns.

    gonna need another $450/500 like that other deal

    • Yeah they had so many deals for a while that brought the price down to $1200~ (even lower depending your trade in/coupons) I couldn't justify this price even though it is a good discount on the retail prices being charged.

      • A quick scroll through past OzB deals doesn’t show it coming close to $1200, link to where this was?

        Trading in a pricey iPhone to get that price doesn’t count.

        Edit: found it, that’s a pretty great price. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/669087

  • Store in title OP

  • As much as I find amazing the idea of having a phone that becomes a tablet, the Flip3 is a lot more practical IMO and some deals have put it in a decent price point. My wife has been using it for a few months and I believe that this folding screens will become the norm soon.

  • Im not gonna lie I think the Galaxy Z flips are kind of Sick looking but im not willing to spend that much on a phone that I reckon I will break.. Also im kind of stuck in the apple ecosystem

    Just a heads up, not sure if its of interest to anyone:

    I was today able to purchase a Samsung S22+ with Galaxy Buds 2 from the Samsung website using
    * Samsung Government portal discount
    * Spend $150 or more on Galaxy Wearable and Accessories and receive $150 off your Galaxy S22+.
    * Plus, $200 trade-in bonus (my old S9+),
    all for $1040.

    • Are there any other sites that also give government discounts?

      • The only one I can think of is Microsoft, which i used to get about a 30% discount on an office 365 yearly subscription. If I recall correctly that was through the Microsoft HUP (how user program) and is not limited to government organisations

  • Does the newsletter code work anymore? Mine is not working. Anyone has a spare one please? (PM)
