Hmm, a lot of comments on the listing suggesting poor quality printing and speculating that it's a counterfeit. Have bought a lot of board games from Amazon without issue (maybe one day I'll play some of them!) but the comments are a bit worrying here…

    • Guess it's lucky they have a good return policy though.

As far as I know, the reviews are for the item not the seller. Those reviews for counterfeits would always be third party sellers. Can't imagine an item stocked by Amazon AU to be a fake.

As Damannation says, Amazon will take returns no issues anyway.

      • Yes, I think it's a bit confusing reading the reviews sometimes. The "same" product can be sold by multiple sellers, including variations of Amazon AU/US/etc themselves. Even though the sellers are different & the products might be different, as long as the seller claims it's the same product & latches onto the same listing, then all the reviews of the product get mixed in together. When you're reading a review, it's unclear whether it's the same product & seller as you're seeing on the screen now, or whether it was a different seller with a counterfeit product claiming to be the same real deal.

I'd say it's fairly safe to buy if sold by one of the Amazons, but be careful if a third party seller (marketplace) as you may or may not be getting a real product.

      • It can be. Amazon takes in stock from multiple sellers and adds them to their pile, what can happen is one bad seller will send in a bunch of fakes and they can get sent out from multiple good sellers including Amazon.

      • Amazon use fulfillment method that although you order from seller A, they might get the item from seller B and send it to you if the warehouse / fulfillment is closer to you

        • So does that mean that if the product says "sold by Company X", it might actually get shipped from Company Y? Who would you then write back to if there's a problem with the product? The default in the Amazon order history is to contact the seller rather than contact Amazon.

          • @bcarp: I imagine this is only relevant for items that are Sold by X but Fulfilled by Amazon. Other times you'll see Sold By Y, Fulfilled by Y which would be handled entirely by the third party.

            • @andehh: Ah, thank you for the explanation.

  • I'm getting assorted errors from Amazon. Website bugs, but may be sold out.

We're sorry. The Web address you've entered is not a functioning page on our site.

    • Yup it’s wigging out big time

  • Most played game in my house for sure. Plays superb for 2 people, quick and light game.

  • I bought this one during a previous deal, and it did in fact have misaligned printing. It detracts but doesn’t ruin the game. And if you let Amazon know they can offer a partial refund for your troubles and you still keep the game (I got $7 back lol)

Is it worth getting the big box?

  • Is it just me or does the new art look awful?
