  • Thanks, bought 3 cartons.

Nice deal FYI also stacks with 12% cash back from cashrewards so makes for some pretty cheap BOOCH!

  • Don't forget cashback!! Nice deal OP, much cheaper than supermarket.

  • +4

$6 for 4 x 250ml cans at woolies, so it is $0.75 cents more ($36.75 before cashback) compared to woolies for 24 mix cans.

  • can this be staked on top of the subscription? (10% off)

Just tried, and yes it can be

    • Yes

    • Just tried and it worked with Cashrewards.

Kombucha's health benefits are not backed by actual research… ref: https://tinyurl.com/2p98tm3a

Saying that coconut water and kombucha are still much better than sugary soft drinks.

The Jnr 250ml bottles seem like good value at roughly 1.30 each after discount. Good alternative to some sort of sugar filled energy drink for me.

  • Is it really that expensive to make?

    • +3

Probably not, but the safety risks of making it at home are enough for me to be willing to pay someone else to do it.

  • Cheers. Bought three cases - raspberry lemonade (my fav), Crisp Apple, Lemon and Ginger.

  • Thanks - much cheaper than the supermarkets, even when on discount

  • Thanks Op. Was a bit laggy but worked at the end!

ALDI always has these cans $6 for 4.

…At least my local in QLD does.

Thanks so much. Probiotics help keep the pain away so it'll be good to stock up.

    • Really? How many of these are you having each day please? I’m interested in your experience…

      • +1

I drink some with lunch or dinner each day and it helps with the stomach cramps and pain I experience frequently. As does a balance diet and other probiotics. The underlying issue will be cured with surgery however.

In the first few days/week of starting new probiotics I do find that the gas/bloating is increased temporarily.

        • Interesting. Some things that have helped me:

          • No dairy
          • no caffeine around meals (ideally)
          • no chewing nuts, only almond meal etc
          • aloe Vera juice (soothing effect seems to have worn off somewhat, sadly)
          • Metamucil is my twice daily saver atm
          • +2

@WhyAmICommenting: That all sounds about right. Dairy at night is a real trigger I find. Metamucil is easily one of the best brands out there. Their probiotic daily gut health is really good.

For me Kombucha is more something good and a better alternative to sugary drinks.

            • +2

@Clear: I use 100% Psyllium husks, if you're looking for value this is much better than Metamucil and my local Woolies has them at $13 for 500g bags, taking into consideration the primary ingredient in Metamucil is psyllium husks along with other things like flavouring and what not.

              • @MahyarJ: Ah nice that's good to know thanks I'll keep an eye out.

      • Goes great with gin or vodka with a splash of soda for an almost calory free drink.

  • Has anyone noticed benefits from Kombucha? Aside from reaching for a healthier alternative to soft drink or juice.

    • +1

Might be a placebo but I felt my gut was healthier than without the extra probiotics.

I think it might depend on which size you buy, because I always buy the 1.25L bottles from the supermarket. Woolies is currently selling it at $6 a bottle (and often does). While the company site is selling 6 bottles for $49 i.e. $8.17 a bottle or $6.13 after 25% off.
So kind of the same thing…

    • yep, was just trying to figure why everyone was happy with the deal. Seems at 1.2L, woolies is still cheaper.

    • Not if you factor in cashback. Ends up cheaper.

  • +1

I found lo bros kombucha to work out cheaper at $4/litre as they're 375ml and on special atm at Coles. Pity it's online only.

The cheapest remedy kombucha is the 1.25 litre bottles at $4.31/litre. The cheapest individual bottles are the "jnr" range at $4.63/litre or the "party pack" at $5.10/litre (all calculated with discount & cash back).

    • If you don't wanna drink a 1.25 litre bottle in one go though, better to get smaller vessels.

  • 48 cans for somewhere in the vicinity of $1.50 per can? Yep Love this stuff.

  • Nice! Great price for the cans - $1.40 per can after you include cashback

    • I wish we could get it even cheaper :(

  • I prefer the nexba rose and lemonade and nexba mango flavours to the remedy ones

  • Anyones turn up yet? Mine has finally been picked up at the factory.

    • aus post said mine has been delayed…. due to Covid 19. Not sure when they will stop blaming covid

    • +1

ETA is Tue / Wed according to AusPost

      • Yeah looks like today for me.

  • +2

    They've arrived, I wish I got more.

I still don't understand what voodoo is in this stuff to claim low sugar. It's delicious and warms my belly, presumably good probiotics.
