Received mine today from the Amazon link.

65W charging works well, only issue is that the Powerboard rattles when you move it around as if something is stuck in there.

    A bit worrying lolz

    • +3

Pfft! You only really need about half of the plastic clips holding the live and neutral busbars in place, the rest are just for redundancy!

      • That's what I wanted to check, because I have Belkin and Jackson Powerboards that don't make rattly rattly noises.

Then again, years ago I never had issues with cheap rattly Powerboards either

I'm not electrically minded so would love if someone had the low down on rattly boards

        • Take a peak inside and let us know what you find. Unplug first ofc.

  • +1

    price in title please OP

    • +2

30% off, $69.99 and I seem to have a 20% voucher on top, brings it to $55.99 (my non Amazon Prime account)

Edit: shame it isn't cheaper or even better a smart board also

  • +4

    I prefer this one…

    • Your link goes to the same board?

      • +5
        • Spit it out lolz what the difference or you imagining stuff?

        • +8

          Typical white powerboard supremacist…

      • different colour
once you go black you never go back
white one may become a bit yellow after a while

  • +1

2 for $97.98 delivered seems like a better deal

  • -6

Same board but in white color here

    • +2

Why did you feel the need to re-post the same link as jv?

      • +2

After telling jv it's the same board, there's no difference to boot

  • Need Wi-Fi PowerPoints any recommendations?

    • What are wifi power points, may I ask?

      • Those that you can control from your phone.
Like Wi-Fi adapters. It connects to internet

      • -1

        power points with wifi

      • Another words smart power boards, I'm searching now, though they never have smart on the USB ports only ac outlets

        • This one seems to have smart USB ports. It's hard to tell: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B096FDLQ5G/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt…

          • @McFly: Don't think it has

It states "4 USB for Smart Phones"

Not 4x Smart USB for Smart Phones

And states USB control for certain devices and none of those devices plug into a USB port

Certainly would of bought it if it had unless you see something I don't?

I'm being accused of being blind in this thread lolz

Edit: might build one with USB control maybe in this existing HEYMIX Powerboard Powerstrip if there's the room inside 👍😜

            • @Italkdigital: "Remote Control: Control the strip with your smartphone anytime & anywhere,Total control and individual control by Jinvoo Smart, but the 4 USB can only be controlled together. "

clearly states all over add and the pictures you can control each socket remotely apart from the usbs they are combined

    • I bought two from this deal - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/635490

      • What's the joule rating on the KASA board?

The HEYMIX board from this deal is rated at 900J for surge protection.

  • Rattling would definitely score you a refund and free fire hazard from Amazon

    • Well you still need to return it and buy another powerboard

      • Nope. Only ever returned something once to Amazon.

        • +2

Cool you must be the odd one out then. For a majority of people they will have to return the item, this your statement doesn't apply unfortunately.

  • Have buy 2 to get the price in title?

    • no just one

      • Weird. Showing $69.99 for one with 20% off if you buy 2

        • Put it in and out and back into checkout a few times and it worked

  • No rattle on mine, so far so good

  • +2

It's about time powerboards had usb plugs that put out a decent amount of power in usb

  • +1

There a voucher or something? Saying 69.99 for me.

    • i think so. i saw a 20% off one when i first clicked on the link, browsed away and came back and it was gone.

  • yeah nah, dont use these on anything that draws a lot of power

  • This brand is getting spoiled by ozbargainers!

    • Reminds me of another brand which has been similarly spoiled… that one is for jump starting your non-EV (GOOLOO).

  • Ordered one black and one white last week. Arrived on weekend, these boards are fantastic!

    • Btw, I've got a couple of Amazon Coupons from the vendor for this particular powerboard for family and friends via Amazon message. Not sure whether they are still valid. For those who are interested in this powerboard, give it a try.

      • Codes have expired, but thanks for sharing.

I guess this deal isn't really expired. they just updated it. You have to buy 2 now to get the $55.99 each.

  • Received mine this afternoon. Very light weight. Whole body mad by plastic, not sure how is the quality inside. Will test the real output power tonight.

    • +1

      Whole body mad by plastic

As long as it doesn't break if you accidentally dropped it on the floor, it should be good enough. At the <$100 price range, I doubt you will find anything better than plastic body.

Will test the real output power tonight.

Looking forward to your review. Please let us know here.

      • +1

Just tested the output power, seems total 65W MAX only. Once I only charge my laptop, showing 64W. If I connect the iphone USB-C charging cable in the 2nd socket, the 1st one drop to 45W only. It means if you need to charge more than 1 devices, the 1st USB-C socket can't provide full 65W power.

        • that's what it says in the specs, and totally expected. have the same happen with my 100W Baseus charger, it can provide 100W on one port but as soon as you have more it drops to 65+30 or whatever combo it does for three ports/four ports etc.

got my replacement today, no rattles, perfect customer service with the replacement. can't recommend them enough!

          • @adrianhughes1998:

Great to hear. Waiting for the next sale on this one.
I don't want to buy any more Belkin units, and am not a fan of the CyberPower surger protector either after reading about all the issues.

            • @DoctorCalculon: Yeah the battery UPS backups from CyberPower seem to have no issues but the power strips do. Strange.

              • @adrianhughes1998: It is a great shame they are such a let down considering the surge suppression rating is 2750J, which no other surge protectors that I know of in the <$100 price bracket boasts.
