Does this work out better then the Jbhifi trade-in S22 deal here* as with the Jbhifi deal there offering a $450 bonus trade-in voucher (plus $100 email voucher) and including the S22 Ultra,.. unless the Samsung accessories are better here or I'm guessing it's the same accessories with all the S22 deals? but I can see this deal offers minor damage on trade-ins but on the Jbhifi deal my Note 9 512gb just made trade-in @ $95 with a cracked screen

Ok noticed no one answered part of your questions, all high-end mobiles are never locked by the Telco they usually install there Telco app so you can check your account easily removable
Don't mention the hairline crack as your s10e might not qualify for there trade-in deal then just neg sending your mobile off, there is a small penalty fee

Pay back the trade-in credit I think there is a $60 penalty fee also (sorry can anyone confirm)
Not that it's happened yet at the worst you'll also have to pay back the $350 bonus trade-in voucher, again hasn't happened yet but that could be the worst scenario so suggest always keep screenshots of all dealings with Samsung as for any future headaches
@Italkdigital: Didn't have a $60 penalty for the S21's launch. Probably read the fine print and T&C for this round's.
The pentanty is what I mentioned specifically for you…. Its a $60 admin fee plus possibility the bonus credit to be returned. In the t&s Samsung has the right to charge it back

I also have an S21, if the bonus is $350 + the trade up value of the S21 is $510, so that's $860 off the S22? That seems like a lot, add their $150 for subscribing to the newsletter or whatever and you basically get $1000 off a $1250 phone?
I just bought it, and that is correct, take another $50 for the newsletter, that's a $910 discount for a $1250 phone, pretty ridiculous - you'd be crazy not to do this.
Maybe I am just getting old, but this trade in re-neg thing seems less like a deal and more like a crime. It's $0 if you just steal one, why not go all in?

Hello just want to ask about the trade-up app of samsung. It's because I'm using it to purchase s22+ on the samsung store.
When I used it earlier, it charged me the trade-in value of the phone ($130 - Pixel 4 XL 128gb) even though I haven't even used the code yet.
Is this normal for the process? I thought it would only charge whenever I didn't return the device at a given time.
To summarise, I finished the trade-in process in the app, then they already charge me $130 instantly (it's on pending in the bank account yet, cause its new). I haven't used the code nor bought anything with it.

The $130 is a hold that they can recover if you dont return your phone. + a $60 admin fee
