A “New to Prime Customer” for the purposes of this Offer, means a customer who does not currently have an active Amazon Prime Australia membership (trial or paid membership). This includes former Amazon Prime free trial members who cancelled their free trial before the Offer Period.

Existing Amazon Prime members who cancel their membership during the Offer Period and re-join Amazon Prime will not be eligible.

To redeem the Offer, a New to Prime Customer must sign up to a trial or paid membership of Amazon Prime Australia. You will then receive an email confirmation that a credit has been automatically applied to your account within 12 hours.

Following receipt of this email, add the Qualifying Item to your cart, and at checkout, the price of the Qualifying Item will be automatically reduced to $35.00.

Offer limited to a maximum of 1 (one) Qualifying Item listed in these terms and conditions, per New to Prime Customer. If Amazon considers a customer to be operating multiple accounts, those accounts will, for the purposes of this offer, be treated as one New to Prime Customer.

This Offer does not apply to orders placed with 1-Click.

Shipping will be applied to each item in accordance with Amazon's standard delivery rates and policies.

        • Did you try this ?

          • @ShouldIBuyIt: Thanks, tried the two methods:

Method 1: "Personalize Echo Show & Fire TV" isnt there under the More tab.

Say, "Alexa, set up my photo display."
Your photos from the selected collections will automatically rotate every minute.

From your Amazon Photos mobile app, tap the “More” tab

Tap “Personalize Echo Show & Fire TV”
Tap the Echo Show that you want to personalize
Enable Daily Memories or tap ‘Add More Collections’ to select one of your existing collections as your photo display.

Method 2: shows pictures in Echo Show but doesnt display them

            Or, from your Echo Show

            Say, “Alexa, go to Settings”
            Tap Clock & Photo Display
Tap Amazon Photos, and choose from your collections

@kehuehue: Were you successfull? I'm receiving mine today:-)

              • @ShouldIBuyIt: Nope, let me know if it works out for you. Im thinking it has to do with Amazon AU portion of Amazon apps not being up to date or not having the same features as US counterparts which is causing this issue.

                • @kehuehue: I just followed the prompts, and I had uploaded a few pics from my phone to Amazon photo app, and it worked seamlessly.

What's annoying tho is I switched to ° Celsius and it's now apparently 66° in Melbourne lol

Edit: ok took a few minutes and it's now 18°

@ShouldIBuyIt: Ok got it to work myself, apparently when you select Amazon Photos as the source it goes back to the previous menu and you have to press "Save"

  • Delivered yesterday not as good as the Nest Hub but great little piece of kit especially for Prime/Audible subscribers. Cheers Jeff! 🍻

Let us know if you have the same bugs others have. Fading to black every few minutes, auto dimming not working, clock backgrounds not cycling….

        All good thus far! 🤞

Before you all discard your new account, go to the homepage and you should be able to avail yourself of a $10 promo credit (on a $39 spend). It will ask you to download the app and then go back to amazon.com.au/prime to claim the credit.

I used it without using the app. Bought the echo5 + $4 worth, then got the $10off

      • Echo show +$4 item all for $29 is the way to go.

        • How does this work? I can’t seem to stack echo show credit with the $10 app credit.

          • +2

@Applause: I think they are saying to first buy an Echo show + a $4 item to qualify, then you will receive $10 off later.

@King Tightarse: I only bought the echo show, then later got the offer for the credit.

$10 off is for next transaction. ^this

  • Looks like they now require phone number to register a new account and won't allow if it has the same existing number

    • Delete your number off existing account and then "if needed" just open a new account for this purchase using it.

      • Good idea. Thanks.
Sorry, Mate, I tried, it doesn't allow me to keep the field blank in the existing account. Have to enter mobile number. Looks like Amazon has closed the loop hole

        • Ah ha. Yeah it used to work as I did it a month or so back.

    • It depends. I'm not sure what the exact reason was, but when I was at work (on 4G phone connection) it wanted a new phone number. At home on wifi it did not require a phone number to register an account.

      • I retried again with home wifi and ignito, still require mobile number. Definitely they have closed the loop hole. Bugger

Just bought a second one of these. Thing is (profanity) dope. Got me a lil bedside Seinfeld machine as an alarm clock, what a world.

    • God (profanity) damn it! I forgot to get the free Cokes again.

Edit: Looked into it and it's good, phew.

  • $15 if you have access to Unidays

  • Hey all.. I've successfully created three separate free trial accounts (all with different emails and phone numbers and CC's that have been unlinked) and have not received any credit email yet. Any tips?

Update 1: Nevermind.. one of the three accounts just got the email.

Update 2: Created a fourth account using a new CC that has never been used before and worked again for me. I've noticed previously using a card that had been unlinked didn't work for me even though it allowed me the free trial. Also when creating a new account, I noticed to avoid adding a phone number (even if its been unlinked from another account) - this caused one of my first 2 attemps to also get flagged and no credit email received.
