    Hi guys, I did a recharge one this morning (one of the older 1c ones) and it now says 20gb? They did give another 20gb bonus. Just seems weird they changed it for 30gb.

      Noticed some changes months ago already with some of these cheap/free voucher codes.

      Either giving more/bonus data than advertised, and now reverting back to original data offer.

      Just roll with it as below $3 still cheap for 20-40GB for the month is it not ?

      Also just rememberred I activated one of the $2.90 Kogan sims few days ago and instead of 10 + 10 GB I got 20 + 20 GB

      Bonus, so bit of a mixed bag atm haha

      The quota given changed a few times. I bought several that got 50GB (which I've now used up), then a couple of weeks after the first lot I bought several more and now that I'm into using those, they're showing 40GB. It's not so much random, as it is different quotas came with later purchase dates.

        Also: IDK if this is a new thing or not, but Kogan seems to have put express shipping as the default. If you select the free shipping, then put in the code, it will actually shift back to express shipping. Same if you add or remove anything from the cart. Might be worth editing your OP just to warn people that Kogan is pushing the $6 express shipping in a bit of a sneaky way.

          Too late now, but you've probably already used that code. I know you're probably certain you didn't use it yet, but I thought too that a couple of times… then realised I had in fact already used that code but had forgotten to delete the email/delete it from my list of codes.

          The only other thing is payment can be rejected if you try to use the same payment details 4+ times in quick succession (like in the same month). The solution is to use a different card/account at the $1 step, and a month later this resets and can use the first payment method again. But it sounds like you mean the first paragraph /.

      Did you enter the correct voucher code? Telstra should be fine and this deal doesn't require a uni email address.

        I quadruple checked typing in the code, yeah. The worst part is that I can't even call up to get them to take a look at the situation, because my old plan's expired and the new SIM isn't activated yet, so no calling even Kogan Mobile themselves up. Kogan (not Kogan Mobile) have blown me off by saying it's Kogan Mobile's problem, even though the email clearly says that for voucher issues, go to Kogan (not Kogan Mobile). What a mess - To be expected of Kogan (/Kogan Mobile) I suppose. Surely it's not a matter of being forced to use a new number instead of porting an old one?

        Edit: I actually have an unused code from Feb so I tried that - Same result.

        Edit 2: I played around with it by putting in a fake email and contact number, and that made it happy with the voucher code. Then, when I went back and put in my original details back in … It worked again. NFI what's wrong with their system but I guess I should just be glad it works now …

              @ichatting: "New customer" = "New account" or "new phone number" (on the SIM packet, or a different number that hasn't been with Kogan for 30 days). So anything that makes you appear to be a different person (because it's automated - not checked via someone's eyeballs) makes you "new."

    Using code posted here, I purchased 30G 30Days plan but when activate using the code, it is not 30G large, it's now 20G Medium plan.
    My previous code (30G large plan) is now showing 20G Medium, which is not what I bought.
    I saw someone posted comments here but isn't it deceptive? Has anyone contacted support and resolved?

        Kogan Mobile Data allowance for many of these cheap 1c -$2,90 new customer/student sims has

        been a bit all over the place with changes from Large to Medium, 30GB to 20GB, some getting

        10GB-20GB bonus same/next day.

        As "nocure" said, for those prices we should be happy with what we get.

      Mine are showing Medium now too. It's probably to do with keeping the SIM quota the same in month 2, 3, etc for people who don't cancel at 30 days.

        If you continue charging with old 1c recharge it’s 20gb. Anyhow never got less than 40gb (initially 20gb plus bonus). I cannot complain, I wish this would stay forever as perfect for tablets (buy new $1 voucher rinse repeat). Just amazing even if 20gb tbh

    My 2 sims with Amaysim are reaching 365 days in Nov.

      Sims get registered when you activate them. They are linked to the phone number so each time is a different Kogan mobile account.

      Yes, can be the same person as long it's two different ported-in numbers, or phone numbers from the SIM packets. "New customer" really = "New account" or "phone number", not "new person."
