      Good pickup. Will edit

  • How would this compare to something like the Astro A50?

  • (profanity) I don't know what to do… I've got the audio technica ATH-AG1Xs and they're starting to feel a bit old at this point.

    • +1

Solid unit. No need to upgrade unless you are having issues.

The GSP units do tend to sit wide on your head, they are chonky.

I would probably suggest the DROP PC38X as your next step, but quite a bit more expensive than these but the same driver. I bought the PC38X just before Christmas at a discount but it still cost me about what I originally paid for my GSP600's (about $250).

      • how did you find your 600s?

        • +2

Sit wide on my head, hoodie over the top in winter is difficult to keep my follicular-challenged noggin warm. Bit hot in summer have to take them off every few games to get some air in.

Otherwise sound quality and imaging is excellent. Running off a Shitt Hel gaming DAC/Amp with mic input also. Good for virtually everything, music, watching shows/movies or gaming.

The PC38X are a nicer, thinner design and open back rather than closed. The yellow highlight is not as bad as you think but there is an all-black version too. It's going to come in at close to $300 delivered though, and this is $99.

  • Already have Logitech G432 - anybody have both and have feedback?

    • +1

These are non-surround with either dual 3.5mm plugs or a 4-pole TRRS only. If you have a good gaming DAC/Amp for mic input, then these will be better SQ wise than the USB input yours has. Mic is also much better. They do have some comfort issues however.

If your G432's work well, no need to spend more for a different headset.

GSP500 user here - be prepared for head clamp if your head's on the bigger side. I've taken to wearing a cap just to provide some cushioning. It's certainly stretched out over time, but it's certainly not what I'd call a comfortable headset.

  • Wireless 1 on Amazon have the white one for the same price with free shipping

EPOS GSP 601 Closed Acoustic Professional Gaming Esports Headset, Noise-Cancelling Microphone, Volume Control, PC + Mac + Xbox + Playstation, Black/White/Bronze (1000413) https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08DND6JMX/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt…

  • I bought these but on amazon from wireless 1 last week.

Comfort wise they feel really good but it does clamp tight but that leads to the really good noise isolation it has.
Audio quality is definitely lacking compared to some of my other headphones with lots of detail missing.

For $99 there are better options.

    • can you please share some of these better options? I have the Corsair HS35, nice fit and comfort but sound is definitely lacking, could do with an upgrade.

        Coolermaster MH751

        • Yep coolermaster MH751 or MH752

  • +1

I'm a GSP550 user. Yeah it is a tight fitting headset but I find the audio quality great.
However one thing most haven't mentioned is that the mic quality is the best I've seen across any headset.
Great buy at this price in my opinion.

    • Second this, mic quality is amazing.

  • Anyone know how they compare to the Sennheiser GAME ONE?

I've had my pair a few years and they've been great, my biggest gripe is the material cable.

    • Pretty similar, woven cable. GAME ONE, The GSP range and the PC38X all basically have the same cable & attachment to the headset with slightly different 3.5mm plus depending on the version. The PC38X has some yellow woven into it, but that is all.

I get what you are saying though with the cable generating vibration back into the headset itself. Probably the most annoying part of them, and a good smooth aftermarket cable with a silicone sheathing would fix that.
