They're constantly on sale for $350 on AliExpress, then there's regular 16-20% cashbacks, but they usually max the cap at $50 AUD. That's still $300 AUD net.

I definitely want to buy a pair. But id rather get from Amazon or an Aussie store for piece of mind. But at around $300 that's super tempting!

I’ve got them, they’re not bad headphones, but because they’re closed back the standard frequency response is pretty abysmal. After a lot of EQ, they’re quite good value for the money at the ~$200 mark.
Let’s be real, no one is paying $629 for these.
Sundara Closed-Back is $235 at amazon but can often be as low as $220. Had to return my first pair as they had a fault and one side stopped working. Definitely liked them more than 700 series beyerdynamics and the closed sundara is considered pretty poor/average in the hobby, the edition XS is probably the more pragmatic choice.

ATL for the HD 620S is $250 via Sennheiser eBay, worth waiting on that too.
Read up on these two ($140ish for the Sundara Closed on AliE with coupons & cashbacks) and the FiiO FT1 ($155ish on AliE with the same stacking), before purchasing.
