      Yes it does.

308$??? Imho, overpriced for such configuration. I tried these Mele sticks in the past and they are not very reliable. Out of 3 sticks that I bought one failed after one year (hdmi issue), another one after 1.5 year - simply not turning on.

And the thermals are (for the most part) rubbish.
Even the Beelink boxes are better.
But I’d get a NUC type anyday, they can be had for a similar price for similar hardware

  • Is it still portable it you need to connect it to a monitor, keyboard and mouse?

    • Wireless keyboard/mouse and portable monitor? Yes.

    • You could say the raspberry pi is portable.
Had a tablet with a similar cpu… absolute pain to use

You are so much better off with a Pi4 or even an Android Box, for 1/3rd the money.

Admittedly, some people will have some x86/64 software they absolutely need for work, so it wont be a solution for everyone.

However, Android in desktop mode, or a light Debian build like Lubuntu just runs rings around these low power windows devices.

Ever since MSOffice went cloud hosted, the reality of an ARM mini PC became reality for a lot of folks.

I have an Rpi ZeroW with Lubuntu I keep on my keyring; boot times are under 1 minute, and then it does everything I ask of it without lag.

I have 2 of the high end windows 'compute sticks' and they all got put away. The appeal is just for a very specific audience.

In short; very cool stick; but you're very much paying for performance you might not need. Dock your phone if it supports it; or consider a Pi or FireStick.
But if you need a 'screenless laptop' then, this thing is pretty darn beefy.
The eMMC will cripple it; but other than that, its nice.

    • Thanks for that valuable input.

    • I've always been tempted to get these as mini low power servers etc. While a bit bigger than the predecessors it can fit 2 M.2 2242 SATA SSDs inside, as well as having Ethernet as a bonus. The Celeron N5105 is a decent lower power 4c/4t CPU too.
