Looks like this cheaper stuff on ebay which I'm using with no issues.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/3IN1-USB-3-1-Type-C-USB-C-to-Fem…

    Doesn't like like a deal

    • This one has Power Delivery.

    • Not the same, the one you link is 30Hz.

    • 30Hz vs 60Hz

  • Fair enough… thanks for the feedback… but sorry don't know how to revoke the neg

  • Does this work with Nintendo Switch?

    • +1

Yes, it works with Nintendo Switch

  • anything with 2 hdmi running at 60Hz?

    • Not have yet

  • Can OP or expert to explain
Note: 4K@60Hz is only available for devices with DP1.4 Alt Mode enabled

Am I able to get 60Hz from monitor samsung LS32AM700UEXXY? This monitor doesn't have DP port.

    • Your input device and output device must support 60Hz, and then it can achieve 60Hz.

    • 4K 60 Hz can work on display port 1.2.

Maybe these use a crappy chipset.

  • OP, I have DP 1.2

Can you confirm this will work to output 4k60 to my compatible monitor?

    • For DP 1.2, it is 4K@30hz

  • Would it transfer 4k 60hz video from my Samsung fold 3 to LG c9 oled? I think both support 4k 60hz.

  • Does this work with the Nintendo Switch dock?

    • Yes, it can work

  • Arghh, went to purchase this, clicked voucher, go to cart and shows no discount and voucher code is invalid. Can't actually see any discounted pricing in the "cost" on RHS.

I think I clicked get voucher when it was $10.95 off and it's now it's been changed to $6 off with the additional promo and has stuffed my system so I can't get any discount :(

Can't seem to unclick the voucher option either …..

    • I did 'collect coupon', no discount showed, then when I went to checkout and added the code and it worked:
      Promotion(s) Applied:-$10.05
      Grand Total:$16.94

  • Comes to $22.94 after promo code applied for me, seems like no $6 money coupon

    • You need to "collect coupon" and went to checkout and added the code and it will work

  • I recently picked up the Dell 34" Ultrawide - will this work with a Lenovo ThinkPad T14s to give me the 21:9 resolution, or am I wasting my time?

    • Well, no reply from the seller - but I took a punt and ordered on Friday, it arrived Sunday afternoon, and the screen, which had been limited to either 19201080 on the laptop's HDMI port, or 25601440 on my USB 3.0 dock, went straight to the native resolution of 3440*1440.

  • Does this one support Samsung Dex? I note some of your other docks explicitly state Dex support, but it's not clear on this one if that's the case as well.

    • Yes, it supports Samsung Dex

      • Thanks for that, order placed.

  • Bought 1 and see how it goes. Currently using the exactly same appearance but probably different brand and only gives 30hz. Will see can get 60hz from Surface Pro 7. My monitor can get 60hz from desktop.

  • Expired unfortunately

  • Appears to be back in stock, voucher and code worked for me

    • Not for me it's 26.99 with 6 off coupon

      • +1

Are you getting all the way to checkout? You may not see it being applied until you are in the checkout

        • Going all the way through checkout

  • USB2.0, really, with USB-C connector…. what have you got that is at least USB3.1 ?

  • Does this work with the Chromecast with google?

  • I got one for my switch (and potentially for some other things). FYI if you are only needing it for the Switch, it only needs 30Hz so it is a bit overkill but still a good option to get for your other devices.

  • Don't waste your money on this product. I thought it would be worth a try for the price, but it isn't.

I purchased to use with 2 laptops.
I plugged a Lenovo 65W power supply into the hub, a HDMI cable to a 1080p Dell monitor and a USB mouse.

    Results:
Thinkpad X1 Gen6 - When all 3 plugged in, only the USB mouse worked.
When unplugging the USB-C power, HDMI and USB mouse worked.
I couldn't get power delivery to work at all (even when only USB-C power connected).

Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 - When all 3 plugged in, nothing worked.
When unplugging USB-C power, HDMI and USB mouse worked.
I couldn't get power delivery to work at all (even when only USB-C power connected).

These laptops work perfectly fine when connected to my Dell monitor through USB-C (for PD, video and USB mouse), so there is no issue with USB-C charging from a 3rd party dock in general, it looks to be a limitation of this adapter.

Needless to say, this adapter does not work properly, and I will be returning it.

    • Worked with my Switch. I do note though that I could not watch YouTube on my TV via the adapter as I got a message saying:
      "Protected content cannot be displayed.
Your TV or monitor may not support HDCP.
If your TV or monitor does not support HDCP, make sure the power is turned on and try again.
If you are currently using an adapter, connecting the Nintendo Switch console directly to your TV or monitor may fix the problem."

      Needless to say gaming worked.
I have not tested it with a USB device yet though.

      • How did you get this working?
Just plug and play into the bottom of the Switch, with the HDMI to the monitor?

        • Yes but I also connected the Switch power supply to the adapter as well.

          • @danielh: Do you have a spare adapter, or are you taking the original and moving it around with the hub?

I was looking for a viable "second dock" option, leaving the complete original (dock + cables) in with the main TV.

            • @beaudilo: Well in many comments on Amazon, people say to use the original Switch adapter when using these adapters but I guess if you have a power supply that can replicate the switch one you should be fine.

  • Arrived today. Have it working with a Surface Pro X and a couple of Chromebooks. Note that when plugged in, the Chromebooks allow you to select battery power or USB-C power now and defaults to battery power. Couldn't work out why when I plugged in the charge icon wasn't present. Wasn't till I saw the notification in the bar and actually read it I worked out what was going on. Thought the hub was broken at first :p
