If u want an expensive anti slip mat… i guess this would work.. the cheap stuff from bargain stores do exactly the same thing and it costs 2-3 dollars for a whole roll..
picture little deceiving.. no it does not defy gravity.. just picture placed vertically when it should be horizontal…

  • Have a look at the actual link, apparently it does defy gravity according to those photos…

  • Looks like ones I got previously from another deal. It's actually sticky, not just anti slip. Definitely does a better job than the anti slip stuff, but might leave a residue on stuff you put/stick on it.

  • is this for real….it might loose it's stickyness after a while sitting in the car under high temp and low temp cycles.

surely while going over a bump will make the phone fall down.

    • I have one in my car, but use it laying flat so phone doesnt slide/fall between seats. They do work, but do lose stick. But ya just wash em and they get sticky again.

  • I've got one in my car that's been there for about 5 months now. Works great with my iPhone. It doesn't stick on all surfaces though. It takes a fair bit of effort to actually remove it. So going over speed bump and such will not cause it to fall off. Go look up some video on youtube on gecko grip. Same stuff.

I want to buy a gecko to put in my car. I could leave it with a bowl of food and it would keep warm in the sun and it could hold onto stuff for me while I drive - eg hands free use of moble phone etc.

    • That made me laugh :D
      Where can i buy a gecko? :p

  • The glue is pretty good.
Leaves no mark on the surface.
    All objects keep properly sticky.

I have one of these, however it is 3 melted cough drops from 2007 in the centre console. Everything sticks to it.

Bought mine on ebay 5mths back. I wouldn't stick a heavy mobile phone eg. B'berry vertical on the dash, it will hold only short while, & gradually gets unstuck (when car goes thru bumps & the like). Light items eg. sunnies on a 30deg incline, it will hold firm using only the glasses' "handles". At 30-45deg angle, all small items stick & hold firm.
