  Up-Scaling no thanks. This is only decent if you only have a FHD TV, if you have 4k TV you are better off giving this a miss.

    It upscales stuff that’s not 4K, like any tv broadcast. Your tv does the same.

  I bought the 945 model about 10 or so years ago. Haven't used it in over 4 years. Basically the same as this one minus the multi room capability - I think.

  Great unit as it can record up 3 different channels at once but 2 of those channels need to be with the same station. eg 9, 93 94 99 or 70, 71 72 73 etc

  If recorded to a hard drive you can edit out the commercials and can copy what is on the hard drive to a dvd or Blu-Ray
