While I get what you are saying, not entirely correct gaming consoles are ineligible, games however are fine ;)

TA yesterday had TGG’s page on Cashrewards updated after I pointed out that it said the redemption of gift cards would invalidate cashback, even though that was actually incorrect.
The SB rep also confirmed a couple of days ago that redeeming gift cards issued by Woolworths Group will result in no cashback whatsoever. I know this deal is for CR, but a CR rep once said that merchants (e.g. BIG W) do not set different terms/exclusions for different cashback providers, so I’m simply providing more evidence that you will definitely invalidate cashback if you redeem at least 1c from a gift card issued by Woolworths Group.
However, the SB rep interestingly also said that the redemption of Everyday Rewards Dollars will mean that you don’t earn cashback on the amount of Everyday Rewards Dollars redeemed on that transaction, but you will still earn cashback on the amount paid for with a debit/credit/prepaid card. @tightarse or @minita can you please confirm whether this is correct?

Do not click through CR until you decide first what you need to buy, otherwise if you just did a click through (aka visited a store through CR, but didn't buy anything or activated one of their promo offers but didn't use it), in such a case they'll rule you out of the bonus cashback targeted offers. Pretty sure they do like that, those targeted ones are way better than 15%/20% on small purchases like $10 or $5
I have had issues with both CR and SB if I start browsing. It seems the tracking seems to get "lost" if too many new browser windows get opened and closed. What I do now is to browse and use CR/SB on separate browsers.

Sure can use the CR App. A tip also is to turn off wifi and use the app on 4G as this then eliminates any potential firewall issues etc. As for tracking issue with your desktop browser, suggest using a clean browser with no add-ons such as Microsoft Edge. All the best.
