[VIC] Free Tickets to Aidan Jones Trial Show (7pm, 7/1) at The Noble Experiment (Collingwood) @ Eventbrite

200
BARGAIN

As the show I posted about yesterday has booked out, I've organised another for this Friday for anyone who missed out but is still interested in coming!

Hey everyone, I'm a Melbourne-based comedian about to go on tour with my new show for a few months before bringing it to the Melbourne Comedy Festival in March. I'm giving away free tickets to my trial show at the Grace Darling Hotel on Smith Street this Wednesday! Show starts at 7pm, tickets are $12 usually, but free with the code 'BARGAIN' at checkout.

A bit about me, I've been performing stand up for 10 years, the Melbourne Comedy Fest every year since 2017, as well as Perth, Adelaide, and Edinburgh Fringes, and tours of Asia and Europe. Below is a link to my recent special on YouTube if you want to watch a little to check that I'm not some random lunatic!

Feel free to email me ([email protected]) with any questions, otherwise looking forward to seeing you there!

Nothing says "sold out standup comedian" quite like back to back posts on OzB giving away free tickets.

Not sure if you are trying to be sarcastic or not but old mate's last post was pretty well-received here

I'm aware it was taken well. Thing is, if you're gonna put on your own website that you've sold out X and X, it's not really fair to say if you're handing out tickets two days in a row.

It'd be like bragging about how many people turned up to the WBBL final a couple years back, when tickets were as low as $5 and they had two live performances of Katy Perry included with the $5. Sure, you could do it, but it's not the most fair and or honest representation of what's happening.

I respect anyone who is try to create a show, so long as they are not egotists. Creative artists have had a rotten time of it in the last two years.

Thanks mate! Honestly the support from audiences through the whole time has been pretty amazing, always trying to find a way to make shows happen whenever possible.

  • We saw Aidan once upon it time in the vaults and he was hilarious, would reccomend.

    • Ah man that would have been years ago during comedy fest! Hopefully catch you at another soon 🤩

  • [Spoiler alert]
I went to Aidan's show last time in Sydney. Best workshop ever! ^^
