This fully feature packed Power Board has got everything you need built in. Built for performance with protection in mind, it can fast charge 4 devices at once with a powerful 2.1A output, and protects the devices connected to the power outlets from power surges. You can control each outlet individually with the built-in switches, and the black finish allows it to disappear into the shadows.

Just missing a coffee maker.
Band 28???
Even if it had Band28, this has less than 250 nits. Hard pass
120hz?
Chroma 4:4:3? (that's one too many players)
Will it tell me I'm good?
The cyberpower 8 port is a much better surge protector powerboard for only a few dollars more. Can be found under $30. The surge protection/suppression on the cyberpower is 2750J compared to 175J on the Jackson.
Sorry Miss Jackson.
If only Justin had of partnered with Ms CyberPower for the super bowl.
It would've been… shocking
I am for real, never meant to make your daughter cry.
I apologise a trillion times
Yeah this one right here goes out to all the baby's mamas, mama's mamas, mama's baby mama's mamas
wow, that Office works is selling it for $59.
I wonder if they price Mach online stores like centrecom. com. au who has it for $28 🤔centrecom is brick and mortar
Officeworks price match both Australian brick n mortar and online retailers.
Thanks for the info. I got one Cyberpower 8 port from officeworks today. They pricematched Centre.com but the included the delivery. So it came down to $37.
3 for $75 plus delivery. $84.90 all together for me.
https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/bundle-cyberpower-8-p…Still no individual switch for each plug no buy
Bought, tnx
Totally agreed. Just scrolled down to see if someone had already said this, and I'm glad I did. :-)
In case anyone is fooled by the description - this powerboard CANNOT 'fast charge' 4 devices at once.
It doesn't have QC, PD or anything other than standard 5V USB charging, and it's a total of 3.4A, which is better than most, but it'll still only charge 2 high draw devices quickly (and only 1 at maximum 2A speeds). With 4 devices plugged in, it'll go slower than a standard wall wart.
Which one do you recommend?
I bought this one (also comes in white): https://www.bunnings.com.au/cordtech-5-4a-usb-8-outlet-surge…
Joule Rating: 228
excellent alternative, thanks for posting.
I have one, we just charge most of our devices at night and it’s fine
Price Jackson? he visits every eBay store when 20% off promo starts
He also makes special visits to stores he missed once a popular deal is posted on ozb as well.
Since the demise of Dick Smith it has really made a dent into the surge protected power board options. I feel like this was the last good option: 8 way surge protector
Sadly my one will trigger the circuit breaker when I turn it off.
Same with mine.
Haha. I bought four of those boards and the sound bar. Very good deal!
I have a powerboard that's probably 10 years old and still going strong. Just wanna brag.
Has it protected you from a power surge though? It might be garbage
I felt foolish when I eventually learned surge protector powerboards have a maximum amount of surges it can sustain. I paid dearly for a fried motherboard during a brownout. I thought I was safe since my surge protector was 5 years going strong.
No external sources have happened in the past (btw is it have or has? ty)
I had one occasion where other devices connected to a circuit turned off because I plugged my heater in the power board. All the devices connected to that power board still worked, and I learnt that there's only a max V. that powerboards can handle.
How do you test for this?
Look for a light on the board (Protected if lit, or similar) Usually they just wire a neon in series with the mov's so if they blow the neon goes out.
Do these draw power even when nothing is plugged into a USB port?
All chargers do, but it isn't much, IIRC it would amount to around $1 a year in electricity
On a tangential note, can anyone recommend me a power board with mostly usb-c ports? About time to future-proof my power points!
Is this enough?
https://m.banggood.com/Original-XIAOMI-2500W-3-Outlets-Power…?
Most of the mobile devices are using turbo charge now days, power board with USB ports are useless.
Doesn't look like it can handle wide adaptors. This one has more spacing between plugs (but OOS): https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/335441/jac…
Not 4x fast charge USB!
Max TOTAL USB power output is 2.1A. Over 4 ports? Horrendous.
Here's manufacturer website link: https://jacksonpower.com.au/collections/usb-charging/product…They've come out with an updated model which now does 3.4A total output: https://jacksonpower.com.au/collections/usb-charging/product…
(still not great, but not as terrible as the older one on sale here). As noted above, there is an 8x 240V 3x USB (total 5.4A) power board available at Bunnings for under $40.
The RRP this "bargain" is laughable…. I can't believe it's received over 80 plus votes.
Not even worth the $18 they are asking for it.2.1a, shit is was about to buy one. Thanks for the heads up.
My work is done then :). That's exactly why I posted… its easy to pull the quick trigger on a highly voted 'bargain'… but not this time.
Have a good one.Legend, looking out for fellow ozbargainers. This is the way. Ozbargain code of honor. Lol

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this, I have no idea how this made the front page.
4 port 2.1A is useless, even can not power two android box
Will this power a xiaomi gateway, a chrome cast, and my Xbox controller dock?
Yes, just plug them all into individual usb chargers in the 240 volt slots.
😉
@choofa: Problem solvered brother. Let me know if you need a hand with anything else 😉
Won't touch this one.
Just bought four of these for bedrooms to charge phones/devices and power bedside lamps, elec blankets etc. They have a bright blue LED that doesn't turn off but a bit of blue tac will fix that.
Seems perfect for this kind of use but as other comments say, perhaps not much more.would not recommend, the switches on these break in about 1-2 years, they stop flipping or giving power.
I've had a few jackson boards over the years, the usb charging works well, but the power points tend to break very quickly, especially if you plug in different things.
I'm sorry Miss Jackson
I bought 3. Woolies substituted them for 2 x 6 switch boards, and refunded me for the 3rd. Item was out of stock.
Apple HomeKit compatible?
