  Does anyone have feedback on using these and using an IPTV sub service?
  Have been looking Into options for parents (ie Android box + xtriv…fetch tv with BBC UK) and finding it hard to whittle down to something VERY user friendly but also providing UK channels

    Firestick 4K Max works flawlessly with iptv apps.
    The best iptv app is tivimate. But it’s expensive.
    Many free app options such as XCIPTV and Smarters IPTV.

    It supports mirroring of your android screen, but not not the cast button in apps (unless the app is otherwise available, eg. YouTube).

        As I understand it, casting shows only the app media stream on tv and usually auto adjusts the resolution and orientation to fit. Mirroring casts your whole phone, not just the app - looks like your phone on the TV. Casting is best when the app supports it. Mirroring is good if the app doesn't have cast (eg WhatsApp).

  If you want a full remote with dedicated volume, Netflix, Prime and Disney button, I suggest to spend a little bit more and get the standard or max 4K.

    Agreed. The remote on the 4K Fire TV sticks are very useful.

    If you have the Amex deal with $20 back on $100 spend, then the Chromecast with Google TV can be had at Harvey Norman for near $80, if you prefer Android TV over the less-than-awesome Fire TV UI.
